Eventually, after much persuasion from his parents,Imam decided to bring back his wife. In as much as he was happy,he was equally sad about the situation as he felt like he was not being fair on Huda, the woman who was there for him when nobody was,but she reassured him that she was okay with it.
The house was peaceful,as they was no one causing commotion which Imam was thankful for. For once in her life,Sophie has decided to do something good for herself. Her and Maya have been bonding and it was getting strong, stronger you may say. And it seemed like everything was getting back to normal,or is it.Imam usually spends three days with each of his wives, which they all agreed on. But as he knew,he couldn't keep Huda and Sophie in the same house,so he took it upon himself to search for another house where Huda would stay, but as you would have it,Sophie was against that decision as he felt she deserved to move in to the new house apparently and it was settled.
It was a Friday, the last day Imam would be spending in Sophie's room, and he couldn't be more happy.Their relationship was improving day by day which was a good thing.
"Babyyy" she whined
"Yes,what is it?" He inquired as he was getting ready to leave for work.
"I want us to discuss about something"
"Wai ke kullum baki tashi discussion sai zan tafi aiki?:(why do you always bring up discussions when I'm going to work?")
"I just remembered. Can't I have a discussion with my husband anytime I like?" She sassed.
He simply smiled and shook his head.
"Tell you what,when I come back,okay?"
She wanted to whine more, but decided to kick back against it.
Imam was all ready as he sprayed his perfume about to leave when she stopped him yet again.
"Wait!"she almost yelled.
"One more thing" she quickly grabbed her perfume from the vanity table and met him half way as she sprayed him with her perfume.
"Sophieee! What are you doing?"
"Nothing"she said with a giggle.
"I just want everyone woman to know that you're taken"
Imam being Imam simply sighed as he kissed her on the cheek.
"Sai na dawo:(till I come back).
"Okay" She replied from the bathroom.
As he stepped out of the room,he heard voices coming from the kitchen which immediately brought a smile to his face. His girls were already awake.
"Why are we laughing?" He said as they came into view.
The moment Huda saw him,she smiled with her head ducked down.
"Nothing you need to know. Good morning" she added.
"Morning, what do we have to breakfast"
"By we you mean I and Maya right?" She said with a frown.
"Yeah, and I" he said in a duh tone.
"It's not yet my turn,remember?"
He pouted hoping with would help him out,but to no avail.
"Don't look at me like that,it's the truth"
After much staring contest, eventually she gave in and made a quick French toast with coffee for him. While she was at that, she prayed and hoped Sophie wouldn't walk in on them because God knows she has no energy for drama this morning.
"Okay,I have to go now"he said as he approached both girls kissing them on the cheek, but Maya was quick to pull his beard, something she loves doing.
"A dawo lafiya,Allah ya bada sa'a" she replied with a smile.
"Amin"

Huda was seated in the living room catching up on some episodes she has missed when she heard the doorbell."He is back already?" She thought to herself as she approached the door.
She stared flummoxed at the woman in front of her utterly speechless.
"Ina wuni:(good afternoon)"she greeted the woman before just as Sophie's footsteps got louder.
"Mama!"she squealed as she pushed Huda from her view and approached her mother.
"My daughter how are you?"
"Mama ina wuni?:(good afternoon?")
She watched as the duo hugged each other and that was when realization dawned on her.
"Mama,good afternoon? An zo lafiya?"
She hesitantly replied with disgust written all over her face.
"Alhamdulillahi"
Huda watched as the mother and daughter duo disappeared further into the living room. She did what any other good wife would do,entertain her guest with a drink In as much as she was Sophie's mother, but this was still her house.
"Dawo, dawo:(come back, come back!) what do you think you're doing?" Sophie lashed out.
Her mother nudged her to keep shut.
"Where is my granddaughter?"
Both wives simply stared at her. Despite the hate she has for Huda, Sophie still respected her for being there for little Maya.
"Let me go get her" Sophie said following behind Huda.
The last thing she needed was her mother's endless rants,so she was thankful when Huda followed her lead.
Two minutes later, she appeared with a bubbly Maya whom by now was accustomed to her mother, but on seeing an unfamiliar face, she clutched more unto Sophie.
"Say hi to grandma"
"Now,even my granddaughter doesn't know me"Umma Saude whined to which Sophie simply replied with a nervous smile.
The day had already passed the by,it was already noon, six to be exact when Imam had returned from work. As usual,Huda warmly welcomed him after a long and tiring day at work.
"Would you like to shower,or eat first?" She inquired.
"I think I would shower before eating, but first let me go see Safiya" he replied.
He ascending the stairs tiredly. As per the agreement before he gets another house,Sophie alongside all her belongings were up,while Huda decided on occupying downstairs, but they still had to share the kitchen.
Upon reaching the top,he was astonished to see Sophie with her mother sitting comfortably while munching on some goodies, which left him confused.
"You're back!"
