Author's POV

"I don't understand how come she is enjoying herself with her friends right now. As far as I know her, she was serious about me and..now..she is on a vacation." Kartik Murmured inaudibly, to himself in his room.

"Kartik maybe she is trying to impose that she is fine. Vese bhi tum dono ne official nhi kia tha." Sanchita said startling him out of nowhere, as she entered in his room.

"Err.. what?" He asked as he wasn't able to get her.

"Kartik tum yahi soch rahe the na..ke vo vacation pr kyu hai? To maine socha clear karu. I read minds darling." She continued without even looking at him and placed herself on the couch while her eyes were glued to her phone.

"No! Absolutely not! Pagal hai kya. Mai itna bhi buddhu nhi hu.. ke usi ko lekar betha rhu. I have a lot of work!" He smiled or more accurately he tried to smile.

"Oofff!! Muje mat batao tum!" She eyed him.

"Trust me babe!" He smiled again.

"Jab Sara ki bat ho...I can't trust you. Neither she. Because I know you both will lie. I know!" She winked and he nodded and then just excused himself.

He rushed to his washroom and splashed water on his face. He misses her but can't call her. He thinks only about her but can't admit it out there, not even to himself. He has become Sara's Kartik in no time, but now he can't walk among people like that. This thought itself constricts his heart making it heavy and he Blinks his eyes, while looking at himself in the mirror. He never thought that his life would take such turn of events and never thought that he would Ever feel so deeply about a girl.

Sara, a girl who's so different from his usual self, a completely different personality, a girl so expressive, quirky and a princess in true sense. She maybe overdoes sometimes, but still able to hold her own, have no pretense whatsoever. She's someone very hard to find in entertainment industry.

She was like a breathe of fresh air for him that managed to allow him to be more real, expressive and receptive too and now she managed to suffocate him.

He was feeling baffled and out of breathe as now he can not ask her to call him like old days.

Flashback :

"Hello!" Sara picked up the phone as she was in NYC and Kartik was busy in his movie.

"Hii. Acha suno..tum ab mujhe call back karo or kaho I miss you!" Kartik said making a blushing face.

"I miss you Kartik and you know that." She replied while smiling to herself in amazement.

"Call me! Okay bye!" He disconnected and began reading his script.
After 20 seconds, his phone rang and he picked up "Hii!" He answered.

"Heyy!" She paused knowingly.

"Bolo!?"

"Kya bolu Kartik?" She laughed.

"Yaar Sara say na!!! Please! Please!" He pleaded like a kid.

"Na na! Man nhi kar rha!"

"Piiilleeaassee.!" He stretched but she cut him in between.

"Kartik I miss you! I miss you! I miss you!"
