But not all are right.
You can't teach someone to say goodbye,
Though you may try with all your might.
To say goodbye is a little word,
But one that holds much meaning.
When you say goodbye it means so many things-
Are we really ever ready?
Words hold power,
But not all are right.
You can't disappear without a trace,
But you try as you might.
It's easier to leave,
Than to have to face those we love the most.
For to say goodbye is leaving them-
We may not meet again.
Movies hold power,
But not all are right.
You can't turn away without a tear,
Though you hold back with all your might.
To turn away from the faces that-
Have made us smile wide.
To shed a waterfall down your face,
Is what will happen then.
Goodbyes hold power.
They always will.
How to say goodbye-
Til another day?
It really is quite simple.
But to say goodbye,
For as long as we see,
The question will always be-
How?
