"You're so annoying", Kenma said frustratedly.
Kuroo and Kenma has been friends for as long as they could remember. They had been through everything as best friends, going to Nekoma, playing volleyball, and even going to the same college together. Everyone around them always questioned why them, of all people were as close as they are.
On one side, Kuroo is charismatic and a social science nerd while on the other side, Kenma was an introverted, antisocial gamer, besides when he was around Kuroo of course. When around Kuroo, Kenma always showed a side of himself different than with any other. He was much more energetic, and Kuroo always had Kenma's best interest at heart. This made him want to always be around Kenma, always keeping him happier and more full of life. For Kenma, Kuroo was just a lightbulb lighting up his dark life.
As children, Kuroo would always convince Kenma to go outside and play games, as long as Kenma didn't have to work too hard it seemed like he enjoyed it. Especially after they started playing volleyball together, Kenma started to really have fun for the first time in a long time, getting away from his gaming set up or his bed longer than he would normally.
Now that they were both in college though, Kuroo was once again getting worried for Kenma's social and mental health as Kenma dug himself deeper and deeper back into his own little hole of work and games.

"You're the annoying one Kenma, get out of your chair and live a little", Kuroo responded to Kenma's most common retort. "All I want is for you to be happy you know, we have been friends for so long and I don't like seeing you so stuck like this", friends? "Is that really all you are to me..." Kuroo thought absentmindedly.
After returning back to the real world of him arguing with Kenma, Kenma responded with a short "I'm not stuck." He looked almost angry at Kuroo, though Kuroo knew that when Kenma looked like that it probably just meant that Kuroo interrupted something like an important game of League of Legends, or a heavy work session for his heavy stack of classes. "Ugh, if all you want is to stay in you're room all day, I will sit here right next to you until you leave." Kuroo said definitely. Kenma just glared at him annoyed and finally turned off his computer.
He grabbed Kuroo's arm and led him to the door, where he kept dragging a smirking Kuroo out of the dorm and into the elevator. It seemed as though Kenma didn't anticipate this moment as he just stood there awkwardly, trying to avoid eye contact with Kuroo.
By the end of their ride down, Kuroo had already ridiculed Kenma for giving in so quickly, and Kenma just fumes in response. After taking one step outside where there was a gust of fresh air in the perfect evening sky, Kenma simply said "Is this better then?"
Kuroo knew that Kenma was about to go straight back into that dorm room to eat more junk food and work, so he quickly held Kenma close to his chest right as he was leaving, without really thinking.
Shocked by his own behavior, Kuroo was frozen in this odd hug with his best friend.
Kenma was just standing there, not struggling and- was that blushing? Kuroo suddenly let go and let out a small "Sorry-" Kenma just stood there, slightly red.
"You can go back to your room if you really want, but I was going to go get dinner at the cafe, you wanna come with?" Kuroo said. Kenma responded with an annoyed "Don't get too full of yourself, but it was getting stuffy in that damn room anyways, I guess I'll come with you if you really want to go."
Kuroo smirked and started laughing with his familiar hyena laugh that Kenma loved so much,
Kenma just scoffed and said "you're so annoying Kuroo" in a half laughing, half annoyed way of speaking that only Kenma could pull off and still be cute in Kuroo's eyes.
