November 10th,
I feel awful, trust me I do, but I've been avoiding Potter, I went to him a couple days ago, and fainted, it's been awkward after that. When I woke it looked like he had been crying, I don't know what I did, I wish I could apologize, i guess. I'm starting to feel bad when I'm mean to him, he looks so angelic, I guess I can admit my feelings on paper, but not in person.

Draco took longer corridors and sometimes skipping class to avoid Harry, Snape was getting annoyed with him but when Draco explained to him what was going on, he was surprisingly more understanding.

He was avoiding Pansy too, it felt like 5th year all over again, when he was sneaking around because he had to kill dumbledore, and he felt horrible about it everyday he did it.

He continued the act until, something unexpected happened, he was simply reading in the library, a risky move he probably shouldn't have taken when Hermione Granger came up to him, she looked distressed.

"I need your help," she said sighing as she plopped on the seat next to him, it was odd behavior, seeing as Draco had always been so cruel to her and now, well now it might have looked as though they were friends from afar.

She grabbed Draco's book and inspected it, as though he wasn't just reading it. "Hey! Granger, I don't know what this is about but you can't just walk in here and steal my book!" He said in a hushed whisper trying to grab it back from her, but she was a tad bit quicker.

"You have good taste in books Malfoy," she replied, flipping through the pages, making him lose his spot, he'd just gotten to a good part to, Gryffindors, this is what they do in their free time? Annoy reading Slytherins?

"Granger!" He said a little louder, making heads turn, glaring at him before looking back at their own books.

He leaned closer to her as she read a page intently, annoying Draco deeply, "is this the way Gryffindors ask for drugs? Because listen, I know I look like I would, but I don't own drugs, alright?" He whispered, he was slightly enjoying arguing but that wasn't something he was going to admit.

There was just something thrilling about it, arguing. "I'm not asking for drugs, just hold on," Hermione said in a nonchalant tone as she was finishing the page.

Draco looked a long deep breath and rested his cheek in his hand. "Ok, sorry, but listen, you've been really hurting him," She explained why but he couldn't hear, he knew exactly who 'him' was, he'd been hurting him?

"I'm sorry, what? What did I do?" Draco interrupted, in return, Hermione gave him a scornful look but started over.

"You've been avoiding him completely, I thought you two were enemies but...Malfoy I need you to be honest here," she trailed off, gripping the closed book tighter.

"We're not dating, is that what people think I do now?" Draco scoffed and rolled his eyes, he was just trying to read.

Hermione stood up, she looked highly excited about something, he didn't care what, maybe he'd just unlocked some sort of knowledge or something, still, he didn't care.

"Hey, Granger? That's my book," he said pointing at the book she was taking with her as she walked away towards the library doors.

She nodded and sprinted out the door. He was starting to grow on her personality, she was odd, for sure but he was surprised she wasn't a Ravenclaw.

Side note: Granger met me in the library today, she's interesting, I don't know how to describe her, witty perhaps, although I'm not sure. I feel bad for what 12 year old me called her, she's much more than that, I think my family's motto wasn't right, I think I have proof now.
