Chapter 11 - First talk

          What was expected from a Slytherin , when others needed help?. Most of the wizards and witches have this idea of Slytherins being bad and evil , but not all of them. There was one person , who got to know another one. They both are lights to this dark world , looking  for some appreciations through their eyes. But it doesn't come easily.

    Lucius Malfoy stormed in Hogwarts so loudly that everybody knew his presence in this huge building. Apparently, Hagrid was thrown out of school by ministry , because of keeping a dragon or something. This huge man really knows how to get in trouble. Also , Lucius wanted to get rid of Dumbledore , same as Draco.

     It was nearly the last day at Hogwarts , Potter really knew how to end things on the last days. No one was let in the infirmary , so you couldn't see Adrian and Hermione. Though they would appear near the great hall , but chances of talking to Granger after what happened were below zero.

   You walked in the hall for meal , too nervous to know what time it was. Walking slowly and stepping with loud thuds , students were walking past you faster than anyone. Suddenly you felt an arm wrapping on your shoulder and a boop on your nose.

-" Y/n! How are you?."

  Fred and George were very tall , so they had to crouch down and look in your eyes. You weren't small , in fact , taller than the Gryffindor trio , but these Weasleys were sure something else. They tapped your shoulder with saying your name a several times , until you jokingly smirked and crossed your arms , waiting for a reply.

-" Granger woke up , she is healed and is coming to the great hall right now!."

They giggled and ran past you , leaving you frozen in one place. Scumbags. Walking faster , wanting to see Granger , but also debating about it , you heard someone call your name. Instinctively , you turned your head around to see who it was and your mood with the face lightened up.

-" Adrian!."

  Adrian was running to you with a huge speed and wrapped his arms around you. How you missed his voice and him himself. He started sobbing out of nowhere , which made you confused and awkward in that moment. What should you do when your friend cries?.

-" I'm sorry for fighting with you before this all. I should have trusted you."

He said and sank in the hug again. Jeez he really was a crybaby. Though it all ended , for you and Adrian it was like this situation was going on , because of its long hold.

Adrian elbowed you in the stomach out of nowhere , making you whine and wince.

-" I guess you have some business to do," he said and pointed his chin at a witch that was running in your direction. You gulped and watched how slowly Adrian backed off and winked. That Scumbag.

-" Hey , Y/n."

Hermione approached you shyly with pinkish cheeks. Must be out of the potion , that made all of the petrified students stand up on their feet. Your heart was pounding like crazy , but on the surface you seemed calm.

Hermione finally sighed and started to talk.

-" I heard your voice when basilisk petrified me. I even heard from madam Pomfrey that there was something in my fist , like a paper. I figured it all out and wanted to say thanks. Thank you Y/n."

  She said as she closed the gap between you and wanting to hug , but held herself back and instead pointed her hand in your direction. You gulped again , shocked at her statement and confused about her reaching her hand towards you. Hermione chuckled and pointed out your confusion.

-" Never heard of hand shaking , Slytherin?."

  She asked in a playful and teasing tone , which increased your shock more. You shook hands with her , still nervous with what might happen after. She was looking at you like she was expecting something.

-" See you next year , Granger."

  You told her and smiled widely , leaving her blushing on her pale skin and also grinning. She waved her hand at you , while opening the big damn doors of the great hall and stepping in. You didn't look away at her running to Potter and Weasley , hugging them both after missing them so much.

    You adored her from the behind , still in the empty hall and thinking how she even talked to a poor stupid Slytherin like you.

   Finally stepping in , Adrian smirked and watched you sit down on the bench , taking some apple pie and a huge jar , in which was juice. He watched you drink it and eat pie at the same time and his smirk grew more wide , when he saw you glancing at a certain Gryffindor.

-" Sooooo , what did Granger say?."

   He asked , torso turned fully at you and staring , waiting for the response he should get soon. You took another bite of the pie and looked at him with a great-full face.

-" She just thanked me about helping her."

  Adrian's one brow arched at , looking at you confused , of when you did those things.

-" So when i was out , you helped the trio?."

-" To be honest , right after you He- Granger was petrified," Adrian giggled at you , you almost said her name out loud and it made you blush like crazy , but continued talking "and i just helped those two dorks with a few things."

You finally said and held your face in your hands , can't believe almost spat everything out.

  Adrian told you , how his parents accepted the offer of you going to Adrian's place for the whole summer. Your father also accepted the request , he still was always busy trying to find a job. Your mother was also busy , not only with work , but some family problems out there. So it was easier to spend time at Adrian's.

    Slytherin's common room was brighter than usual , the sun rays going through the window and landing on a smooth and shiny surface of the table. Usually the room was cold , because of the Slytherin's characteristics , but this time , no one could find anything warmer than this.

    Majority of the students were already headed to the train , packed and ready going back home. However, there were some students still packing , including you.

    The dorm was empty , no Pansy's talking with Daphne Greengrass , no clothes or make up thrown around and no stuff other than yours. The scenery outside never died , still as beautiful as ever , knowing you will see this once again. Adrian walked in and offered his help with packing , which you gladly offered.

-" Can't believe this is all over. Feels like every year here is worth it."

  Adrian told you , as he also noticed the beautiful view of the dorm's window. It pained you to leave this place , it was your home after all.

The train compartments were all full , because of the early comers. You and Adrian were looking for one single empty section , which you two would sit in. Almost in slow motion , locking eyes with the prettiest girl in Hogwarts , Hermione. She smiled slightly and pinkish color were on her cheeks , as she shyly looked down. Must be from cold.

Looking for an absolutely empty compartment was unsuccessful, but at least two Gryffindors didn't prohibit Slytherins to enter the empty space left on some of the seats. Fred and George were sitting in front of you , telling jokes and teasing you about Granger , With Adrian joining in.

-" Oh not you too Adrian."

You said smiling from the images they talk about , also a faint blush entering on your cheeks. They laugh the stressful year off them , while eating some sweets they got from an old lady. You also ate some candies , leaving you all full.

The view while passing some places was amazing , but knowing that you will experience this again within three months was sad.
