Chapter 9 - Petrified

          Frozen in one place , it felt like time was going slowly. Who would have thought this would happen? As you walked down the hall , scared , no one was around. Adrian was petrified on the floor , not moving , not breathing. He got caught , just like Filch's cat.

-" Miss Y/n?."

A familiar professor's voice raised , as you were kneeled besides Adrian , looking at him in disbelief. You didn't even have time to talk to him about the topic you two fought about.

-" Professor Snape.."

You gulped and stood up , without breaking eye contact with Snape.

  Now you were without your best friend , walking down the halls and not knowing what to do. Adrian kept you amused , but now no one was around. You even were late on some lessons , Your best friend would wake you up.

     Walking without sensing all of the students looking at you , someone bumped in your shoulder , but lightly.

-" Y/n?."

  You looked back at the person who called your name , it was Potter.

-" Hey Harry."

  You said with a soft voice , though inside you were numb and wanted to be alone. But it was a dark time at hogwarts , not only you felt like that , miserable and alone.

-" I heard about Adrian... i'm sorry.."

   He placed his hand on the shoulder which be bumped in and sighed , smiling at you.

-" What are you sorry about , Potter? He's just petrified , i am pretty sure he will get better soon."

  You told him with a weak smile , trying to keep yourself together and not having a mental breakdown right in the hall. He hugged you lightly. It was an awkward hug , but enough for you to calm down a bit.

-" Harry! What are you doing with that Slytherin?!."

   Weasley stormed in the hall and went right to you two , leaving you speechless with Potter on your other side. Weasley really had a lot of hate towards all the slytherins , not knowing that it was just Malfoy and his friends.

-" Sorry , Ron. I just comforted her about her best friend , you know what happened."

Harry said while patting your shoulder to make you feel better , it was kind from him , but a little weird , because none of the other houses liked Slytherin.

    Weasley looked you up and down and had a slight disgust written on his face , trying not to say something mean. He grabbed Potter by his arm and dragged him away from you.

-" Bye , Y/n."

Harry said waving at you and you waved back. Never thought Potter could comfort a Slytherin. Though all the shit you did. It wasn't a big deal , you helped him with the stone , but left after. Got into Weasley's car and they don't know it still.

    I'm going to help you , Potter. You thought without realizing and went somewhere else , still wandering because of the mess happening right now.

    A few days passed after and there were some more victims. It was a bad situation , Professors were following students everywhere for safety. It was just a little left , for the school to close.

     You were sitting in the Slytherin common room , doing homework , or you thought so. Your Concentration was taken by fantasies , about how this all ended , and everyone was happy. In fact , if someone makes a change , everything will be over.
