I haven't posted on here for a bit so I thought I would put down a little something that happened to me.
It was 8th grade and I'm working on a band assignment, a playing test. So I'm playing and I notice that my lip hurts. Like really, really hurts when I play. I take my trumpet off my lips and I look in my camera that I'm using to record.
There is this huge, nobody's business huge, red dot on the cupid's bow of my upper lip. If your first reaction was pimple, congrats you get a gold star.
Mine was not pimple, evidently. I thought I had somehow gotten a "trumpet blister." Where and how I came to this conclusion, I still don't know.
So, of course, I email my band teacher. Pretty much panicking by this point I obsessively check my email. Apparently she was out with friends and didn't get back to me for a little while.
I was so embarrassed when she emailed me back. Because it was a whitehead pimple. My 7-8th grade band teacher told me about my first pimple.
Woah, Happy. You might be thinking. Why would you ever post that on the internet? Idk, I feel like this is one story that should be shared. And besides who doesn't have an embarrassing first pimple story?
