Chapter 13

(Rose POV)
"Alright we're here" the note said I look up to see a tree house up in an very tall oak tree,it must of been at least 6 stories high the messenger flicks a switch and a spiral staircase appears right before my eyes he grabs my hand then I feel the note vibrate "it's going to be a long way up" I glare at him and he shrugs and walks up the long green staircase. As we walk I can feel it crumbling down so I quickly catch up to the shadow, "I think you need to get this staircase repaired" I yell out because he is far away he doesn't answer he hasn't been talking since we got to the tree house what could be going on with that shadow up there?

(Slender Mans POV)

I frantically look through my library I'm getting frustrated I know I have a book here about the messenger, then I hear Sally yell out "is this it!" I look down and I sigh how did she get to the book before I did I walk to her and I dust off the book and in black font writing says the shadow laws I hug Sally and praise her and I take the book from her tiny hands I search through the pages then I find the page about the proxies and messengers the law says:

THE MESSENGER WHO MEETS THE PROXY WILL HAVE TO EITHER LURE THE PROXY TO TAKE THERE POWERS OR SHOW THEM THERE TRUE FORM WHICH LEADS TO THE MESSENGERS DEATH IF THIS LAW IS NOT FOLLOWED THE MESSENGER AND THE PROXY SHALL BE EXECUTED - SIGNED ZALGO KING OF EVIL

I look at Sally then a bolt of thunder hits the ground outside "oh of course that has to happen at a scary moment"Sally laughs I smile knowing she can't see it,and I look into the book more.

(Bens POV)

"RAKE WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!"I shout and he smirks and he laughs psychotically and runs away that bastard once I get my hands on him I'm gonna- "ben help me"Jeff whisper to weak to speak normally,I panic um um I rip off a piece of my shirt and wrap it around he's waist it's not going to last very long we have to go back to the house as quick as we can,I call smile and we go back to the house as quick as we can what am I going to do "this is going to hurt buddy but we need to run if you want to live"I whisper to him he barley nods but enough to tell me that he is ok with it so me and smile run as fast as we can I'm not stoping I'm not going to loose my best friend "Jeff stay strong" I whisper as we run I'm not losing him I will save him.

(Roses POV)

We are finally at the tree house I drop on the bed then I hear a Big Bang I shoot up and run to the messenger, wait he is human he gets up "hi" he says he sounds like he hasn't talked in years "my real name is ciel but you can call me shadow" he says coughing while trying to get the words out of his mouth and he sits down its getting dark maybe you should sleep I nod and he shows me my room it's a mattress on the floor he goes out and I lay on my bed I have nothing to think about so I just lay there as my eyes fall heavy.

12:00

I slowly get up but I feel someone on me I look up to see Ciel staring at me I try to move but he has he's grip on me "you know you have beautiful eyes"he whispers with lust in he's voice then he starts kissing my neck I push him away and get up "please don't do this"I start to sob I try to run but he slams me against the door and starts unbuttoning my top I kick him and I grab the door handle and run out of the exit I quickly run down the stairs I look behind me,he is right behind me just out of reach of me. I start bolting getting away from him then I remember Jeff I'm such a fool why did I go? Why did I go I ask myself this question again and again until I realise was he taking control of me? Oh my gosh HE WAS! My feet feel the ground but then I hear screaming and cries from behind I turn around to see the sand man turn into sand what a coincidence I think he's dead I run away not helping him I don't want to see his face again I need to go back to the house I need to go back to my family the ones who protected me.
