chapter three :D

Rantaro smiled, 

"hmm... get me a slurpee with every flavour there, and Kiyo wants the same." 

"Two straws in each," Korekiyo mumbled 

"Two straws in each." Rantaro repeated. Kaito quickly grabbed his jacket, it was a purple colour, and of course it had a galaxy theme going on inside. And with that, Kaito and Kokichi left the room. Kaito sighed, and shook his head a bit. 

"Ready for an adventure?" He turned to Kokichi, and Kokichi nodded. They started walking out, trying to be sneaky so they wouldn't get in trouble. Once they were out of the resort, a small breeze struck Kokichi and sent chills down his spine. He was fine though, nothing he couldn't handle.

 "So... Can I stay in your room tonight?" Kaito suddenly asked, scratching the back of his head. Kokichi shook his head, keeping a smile. 

"I don't know, can you?" He replied, which made them both laugh a bit. 

"Bro, that was the worst!" Kaito said in between a laugh. Kokichi nodded, 

"Oh I know, I'm the best.. But, I guess I can make an exception " he held his hand to his chest, lifting his chin up. They kept talking for a few more minutes, smiling and laughing. Kokichi felt really happy. It was dark out, so they didn't see the man walking towards them. Kokichi bumped into him. 

"Oh I-I'm sorry sir!" kokichi said quickly. Judging from the man, he wasn't too pleased. He looked like an important business man. He turned to kaito, 

"Keep your girlfriend on a leash, young man." He angrily spat out. Kokichi narrowed his eyebrows, "You're just jealous, you grumpy sack of bones, you wish you could be with someone like me." Kokichi said, crossing his arms and once again, the man scoffed and walked away, not saying another word. Kaito looked back at Kokichi, and he had a big smile.

 "I did not expect that from you..." He said, nodding slowly. Kokichi shrugged and kept walking, 

"It's not the first time something like that's happened. Like, one time this guy genuinely thought I was a girl, it was very hard to get away." He explained, still with a smile. Kokichi knew that kind of stuff didn't matter. He knew when to tell people to fuck off. He didn't really care about other people's opinions too. Suddenly, Kokichi felt warm. He looked up, and did not expect kaito over him, wrapping him in his coat.

 "I don't want you to be cold, also I don't want anyone to mistake you for a girl." He said, with a softer tone. Kokichi melted, he wanted to scream of joy. Kaito smiled, 

"I wish I could be like that!" Kaito said, walking alongside Kokichi, still laughing a bit. Kokichi snuggled more into the jacket, and raised an eyebrow, 

"You... wish you were more like me?" He said, tilting his head a bit. Kokichi thought about their lives and how they were completely different, Kokichi has never even been to a party! And he was sure Kaito was the king of parties. 

"Well... Yeah and no- Obviously I like my life, but you're like, really cool Kokichi." Kokichi blushed a bit. 

"Hey, do you wanna hang out for a bit? Like- after we're done in the store- we could even get some snacks for us! I brought a bit extra!" He asked, "I just... don't really wanna go back just yet." Kaito added, keeping a big smile on his face. Kokichi was a bit shocked, and he didn't really know what to say, but he nodded without thinking. 

"That sounds hella fun yeah!" He replied, smiling a bit to himself. More time to be with Kaito? Even if it was the end of the world, he wouldn't care! They made it to the store and walked inside. Kokichi grabbed a cola for Kaito, and a purple monster energy for himself while Kaito grabbed some snacks for him and Kokichi. Kaito came to the back where drinks and kokichi were, and his arms were full with chips and chocolates. Kokichi laughed a bit, holding his arm out.
