Chapter five :O

Kokichi walked into the bathroom, setting his clothes on the counter before stripping down and getting in the shower. He wasn't that surprised Kaito  was stupid, but a part of him felt a bit upset. Kaito wanted him to go out with Miu? He wanted to laugh in Kaito's dumb face.  Kokichi groaned, and started to wash his hair. He was not excited about the rest of his day anymore, knowing Maki and Miu will be joining them.  He thought about maybe canceling the plans, but in the end he'd still get to hang around with Kaito.

"Maybe it won't be so bad..." Kokichi mumbled, letting the water fall down his pale face. He could just make it clear he wasn't interested in Miu, or he could try and be friendly with her. He shook his head at the thought, not sure what his next move was. He obviously wanted to do what made Kaito happy. He started to think, maybe Kaito was doing this out of pity? to make himself feel better? Kokichi wanted that thought to leave his head and never come back. He believed Kaito was a good guy, just once again- stupid. 

Kokichi finished up in the shower, and started to dry off. He was nervous , but no one else had to know that. He brushed his hair down, and left the bathroom. Kaito was still on the bed, on his phone doing whatever. Kokichi smiled a bit, then put his dirty clothes in the corner. Kokichi sat on the same bed, and looked over at Kaito. Kaito looked a bit nervous, and Kokichi raised an eyebrow. 

"Is something on your mind?" Kokichi asked, with a softer tone. Kaito laughed a bit, shifting himself on the bed a bit to be closer to Kokichi. 

"Yeah? I mean... I don't know, I guess I'm just nervous." Kaito said, falling backwards on the white bed. he put his hands under his head, and stared up at the ceiling.

"About what?" Kokichi asked, "Is there anything I can do to help?" He added. He wasn't going to act like a dick to Kaito. He laid down next to Kaito, going on his side and putting his arm under his cheek. Kaito sighed.

"The other day, Maki told me she liked me." Kaito said, looking down at Kokichi. Kokichi wanted him to shut up immediately.

"Well, isn't that a good thing? don't you like her back?" Kokichi said, afraid of what Kaitos answer could be.

"Not in that way... Don't get me wrong, she's nice and everything, and pretty too! She's just... like a best friend to me." Kaito explained, sliding his hands down to rest on his flat stomach. Kokichi started to laugh. 

"You're so stupid." Kokichi said, still with a laugh. Kaito started to laugh along. 

"Hey, don't say that! It really hurts my feelings..." Kaito added. "But... I just don't know what to do. What do you think, what would you do if you were me?" Kaito asked, turning to his side and facing Kokichi. Kokichi blushed a bit, being so close to Kaito.

"If I were you I would shave the goatee off first of all-"

"What? you don't like it?!" Kaito said immediately, moving his hand down to his chin. "But it makes me who I am..." He mumbled, pouting his lips out. Kokichi laughed again, and Kaito kept the laughing fit going.

"I'm just teasing! but seriously, you just gotta say whats on your mind. You shouldn't really care about other people's opinions." Kokichi said, putting his hand out and pressing his index finger to Kaitos chest. Kaito blushed a bit, then smiled brightly. Kokichi felt warm to see that smile again. 

"Yeah, you're right. Thanks Kokichi!" Kaito said, his bright eyes shining as he looked at Kokichi.

"Of course I am, and I always will be." He said, putting his hand on his own chest, keeping a grin on his face. Kokichi was going to speak again but the notification on Kaitos phone interrupted him. Kaito checked, and Maki told him they where ready to go.  Kaito groaned a bit, closing his eyes as he set his phone down.
