After a bit of walking, they reached the hotel again. Kaito was oddly silent, but Kokichi didn't pay too much attention to it. Kokichi would occasionally peak up at Kaito but looked back down at himself quickly after, because… Was Kaito always so pale? Whatever…

They made it back to Kokichis room and they both made themselves comfortable on the bed. Kokichi smiled a bit, taking a quick glance at Kaito. Kaito let out a loud sigh and closed his eyes.

"So… what are we going to do now?" Kokichi asked, a small hum adding itself to his voice. Kaito groaned, turning over in the bed and facing away from Kokichi.

"I don't know… I'm not really in a mood." Kaito mumbled. Kokichi raised a brow.

"Seriously? I thought we were just having fun-" Kokichi added. After that, Kaito started to cough. Kokichi flinched slightly at first, but got used to it before the coughing fit died down. Kaito hugged himself loosely, making himself smaller in the bed. Kokichi paused for a bit.

"Do you feel okay-?" Kokichi asked, starting to worry a bit. He hasn't seen this happen at all. Kaito nodded his head slowly.

"It's nothing. Don't even worry. I- I'm fine." Kaito answered, using a slightly stern tone. He slowly got up from the bed. Kokichi still felt a bit worried.

"You need water or something? I can go get you some. They might have cough drops somewhere around here-" Kokichi started, getting up from the bed too. Kaito turned to look over and shook his head slowly.

"No- I said don't worry about it. I'll be fine soon-" Kaito managed to say before getting into another coughing fit. He stood up from the bed and made his way over to the bathroom, a hand quickly covering his mouth.

Kokichi paused a bit again before watching Kaito quickly shut the bathroom door. He sat himself back on the bed. "You've been telling me a lot lately- it's just weird that you're not saying anything now. I was just asking how you feel." He added.

Kaito scoffed. "what's there to say? I already told you I'm fine, didn't I? aren't you listening at all?" Kaito spat.

Kokichi heard the water start to run, but- he wasn't happy to hear the way Kaito spoke to him. "I'm just trying to help you big dummy…" Kokichi mumbled, looking down at his feet. "If you're sick you could've just said something!" Kokichi added, raising his voice so Kaito could hear him.

Kaito didn't respond back. Kokichi just kept listening to the water run. It went on for a few minutes after. Kokichi glanced up to see Kaito walk out of the bathroom.

"Are you okay...?" Kokichi hesitated to ask. Kaito nodded, quickly looking away from Kokichi. Kokichi sighed. At least he was feeling better.

"Why are you being such an asshole right now? Weren't we just having fun?" Kokichi asked.

"Yeah- we were… but, just shut up... I don't wanna talk about it- I'm- I'm going back to my room." Kaito sighed, starting to walk away. Kokichi stood up.

"Whats with the sudden mood change? What the hell happened?" Kokichi spat, narrowing his brows as he looked at Kaito.

"It has nothing to do with you, leave it alone-" Kaito added, stopping before opening the door. "I don't wanna fight with you when I feel like this… I'll text you when I feel better. Look-" Kaito paused. "I'm sorry." He said with a softer tone. Kaito stepped outside of the room and started to close the door slowly.

Kokichi still felt a little angry, and confused. "Yeah? Well- thinking about who I have a crush on has nothing to do with you either! Why don't you leave that alone you big dumbass! I don't even like girls, hah! Didn't think about that, huh? I'm gay!" Kokichi spat, immediately regretting the fact that those words even left his mouth.

Kaito paused, slowly opening the door again and looking down at Kokichi.

Kokichi froze, just staring up at Kaito with wide eyes and a small pant.

Shit...
