“What are you-” she didn’t finish the sentence. A tiger was standing in front of us. At first I didn’t believe that it was a tiger because this animal was two times bigger than the tiger we see in the zoological parks. So I guessed that the power of the tiger also will be two times than a normal tiger. It had claws each one at least the length of a 30 cm scale. And the canines of the tiger were also longer than the canines of a usual tiger. I saw Eva. She had drawn her sword. She stared at the tiger like asking ‘How many times I have to mark you with my sword?’ fortunately I had also brought my sword. I took it and caught it in my right hand and with my left hand I caught the ropes of Maximus. The tiger also seemed to be afraid of Eva. Then the tiger turned its head to see me. It looked at me like ‘You are weak. So I’ll eat you first’. Then it charged. I wanted to jump from Max and run away into the forest. But I couldn’t do that because I couldn’t leave Max to this beast and the other reason I stayed on Max was I didn’t know how many tigers were waiting inside then forest to catch a weak prey like me. So I changed my mind and charged. I had planned to make Max take a slight left so that I could pierce the sword at the side of the tiger and kill it. But the tiger had other ideas. It jumped on us a little distance from us. I was not ready for this. I sliced my sword above my head and made the cut in the tiger’s face just near the eye and the tiger landed on the ground. The cut didn’t do any good to me. It just annoyed the tiger. The tiger turned to face me again. It began to charge but before that Eva made a cut in the tiger’s belly. Before the tiger regained its consciousness I executed my first plan. I charged at it and pierced the sword right at the spot where Eva had made a cut. The tiger yelped and fell to the ground. Eva was standing near the bush.
“Is it-” I didn’t complete the question. Before Eva realized where I was looking at another tiger jumped on the Eva from the bush in front of which she was standing. Bella fell and Eva struggled under the weight of the tiger and struggled to keep and face away from the tiger’s teeth. The tiger had cleverly pushed the sword away from her hand. The only weapon she had was her own hands. She used it wisely. She kept on punching the tiger wherever she could. Mostly the tiger got punches in the eye. I got to the ground and ran to save her. But before that the tiger that fell in front of me got up and now it was standing right in between me and Eva. I was annoyed by the tiger. I saw Eva who was still struggling. She had already got many claw marks all over her body and was losing a lot of blood. Soon she will be fainted and the tiger will kill her and I also will die. I had to do something. If ran to help Eva ignoring the tiger in front of me, it will kill either me or Max. But if I stayed here the tiger atop Eva will rip her head off her neck.
The tiger in front of me didn’t wait for me to make a plan. It charged. I made marks on him and he also made many marks on me. Pain surged through my body. But the anger and determination helped me to fight on. Side by side I saw Eva. She was still struggling. I didn’t want to kill this tiger but I had to. Finally I got some room. With all my power that was left I pierced my sword under the tiger’s head right into its throat. I felt its muscle tearing and blood sprayed all over me. Even now the tiger kept on clawing my hand but I pierced deeper and finally the tiger stopped and it lay still.  I took my sword back and the tiger fell. With tearful eyes I climbed Maximus and made him charge at the tiger that was atop Eva. I thought I couldn’t make it. Eva had already given up. But Maximus seemed to understand the pain Eva was undergoing. So he charged at full speed and THUD! The tiger flew a few meters away and fell. It tried to get up but it couldn’t. I knew it would gain its consciousness very soon. I got down and went over to Eva. She had almost fainted. When I went near her she said
“You fought well. You are a good student. The king will like you.” And she fainted.
“I will not let a stupid tiger kill you. You are a warrior. You should not die like this.” But I didn’t know if she could hear me. But there was breath. Her face was red and almost covered in blood. Claw marks all over her body. Her dress was ripped open at her knees, shoulders, waist and many more places. She was still bleeding. I shook her. I knew that she was alive only because of her breadth. Other than that she showed no movement.
