“Oh my…I told him just the first part of it. So you are saying that…he is…” she dragged and did not complete her sentence.
“Yes” Adam said plainly.
“Can you tell what is going on in between you?” I asked.
“Of course I will, Oliver. Eva had told you about a belief of ours, right? But you heard only the half of it. There is a second half for the belief. Listen carefully. The first half says that if a person dies here, he will have another life in the future with the qualities of the person who died here. This is the part that you know about but as the belief goes it says that one in ten thousands will be born with the opposite character in the future. That is if you posses bad qualities and character here you will be born with good qualities and character in the future and it is true for the other way round. If my guess is right, you are here instead of Liam but you were born in the future according to the second part of the belief. But Augustin didn’t know about it. Nobody did and nobody can predict it. He must have thought that you will have the qualities of Liam and asked Elisa to bring you here. then he must have figured out that he had done a mistake by looking at you do something good in front of him. Did you do something like that?” he asked. I was stunned and shocked on hearing all this. He was saying some kind of second half, good qualities, bad qualities bah blah blah. I couldn’t understand any of it. but my mind was furiously trying to bring the pieces of the puzzle together and make a beautiful picture. But I answered his question.
“Yes, I saved a soldier once in front of him. In a combat” I said.
“That’s it Oliver. That must have made Augustin realize his mistake. So he started treating you so harshly” he finished.
“So you are saying that I am Liam, but Liam with good character?”
“Yes, Oliver” he said. Then Sebastin spoke after a long time.
“Okay, warriors. Now you all know who you really are. So let’s discuss about how we defeat Augustin” he said.
“W all fight in the war and defeat him” Adam said cooly. But Sebastin rejected it and sais
“No, Adam. This war will never end if we fight this anymore because both the sides are strong. Even with simple commanders his army is strong enough to fight till six in the evening” he said.
“The tunnels? What about the tunnels? Elisa knows how to use them. We can use the particular tunnel that goes straight into their base” George suggested.
“That’s not fair, George” me and Adam said in unison.
“It’s not a bad thing to defeat a tricky man with tricks, Adam and Oliver” Sebastin said.
“But, my lord…” Adam started to protest.
“No Adam. It’s set. We are using the tunnels. But take William and Amelia with you. Tomorrow you fight in the war as soldiers under William and Amelia. In between the war use the tunnels and enter Augustin’s base and kill him. There is no arresting him. Just kill him on the spot” he said.  After that William and Amelia entered the tent. On seeing us both were shocked. He took out his sword and started charging at us. But before that Sebastin took his dagger out and defended his sword.
“Stop it, William. It’s Elisa, the former commander of our army. The army was way too good under her” he said. William lowered his sword and stared at her in awe and said
“Elisa! Oh, I’ve heard so much of you and your greatness. I was a soldier in the army too, ma’am. But I never got the chance to see you. Sorry, ma’am. Please forgive me for the incident in the forest and sorry about the thigh, Oliver” he said. George went to Elisa’s ears and said
“You’ve got an admirer. I think he loves you.” She hit him with her elbow and said
“Shut up, George”
“Enough of your apologies, William. We have a king to kill. Now you all go to William’s tent and plan for tomorrow. But before that go and have some food” Sebastin said. So we went and had some food in the dining tent and then went to William’s tent. That tent was not designed to accommodate five people but we adjusted. We planned for the next day and all went to sleep. But I couldn’t sleep. So I got up and went out of the tent. There was a tree nearby. I went there and sat under it. I was thinking about the past few days of my life. Suddenly someone said
“Oliver!” My heart skipped a beat. But I turned and found that it was only Elisa.
“Couldn’t sleep?” she asked.
“I was just thinking… You know, the past four days are the craziest days of my life” I said.
“And why is that?”
“Um… I controlled a horse, dueled two giants and led an army to a war and finally I find out that I have been on the wrong side this whole time. How crazy is that?” I wondered as I told all these to her.
“Yeah crazy” she said plainly.
“Will our plan work? I mean is there full safety for everyone?” I asked.
“Scared?”
“No. no, just a thought” I said.
“Leave all your thoughts here and come back to sleep. You’ll need our strength for tomorrow” she said and went back to the tent. I sat there for a while, gazing at the sky, doing a little prayer that nothing should happen to anyone the next day. Then I too went back to the tent and slept.
