You were sitting on the couch, scowling with a heating pad held you your abdomen. Of course, it was that time of the month.
Charlie had just gotten home from work. He came up the stairs.
"Hi, Y/N- oh, what's wrong?" You just mumbled an upset response. "Does someone need some love tonight?" He asked. That was how he usually fixed bad days at work.
"The last thing I want is anything up there," you growled at him. He smirked a little.
"Oh, c'mon, Y/N. I know how to make you feel better."
"Wipe that smirk off your face! I told you no!" You yelled at him. He looked a little taken aback and he went into the bedroom to change his clothes. He took a bit longer than usual and came out in his sweats and a white tank top.
"I'm sorry I-"
"Go get me a cup of tea," you angrily mumbled, wincing when you moved because it hurt so bad. Charlie scurried off to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with a steaming cup of peppermint tea.
"One ice cube and a teaspoon of sugar, just how you like it," he softly said, placing the tea on the coffee table and kissing the top of your head gently.
You melted into tears when he said that and then he sat down on the other side of the living room with his cup of coffee.
"Aww, Y/N. I'm sorry you're so emotional," he said.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you," you apologized.
"It's fine, I know it's a rough time of month for you," he replied.
"This made my day," you whimpered, taking a sip of the tea.
"Just a cup of tea?" He asked. You nodded.
"It's been such a long, bad day."
"Did you leave work early?"
"I called in sick," you admitted.
"Poor Y/N." You nodded, appreciating his pity. "I'm sorry I prodded you earlier about-"
"It's ok," you quietly replied. "I shouldn't have snapped at you."
"I like when you're bossy," he admitted.
"I'll tuck that away for later," you laughed, taking another sip of your tea. "I love you."
"I love you, too," he said, taking another sip of his coffee and kissing your head gently.
