"Charlie! Have you seen my scrunchie?!" You cried, getting ready to go shopping for food. Lately, your scrunchies, actually all your hairties, had been missing lately.

"What? Your hairties? No. I have short hair," he said, giggling a little.

"No one else would take them though! There's no one else here," you said, frustrated. Charlie backed out of the room and went back to his breakfast.

You started looking through all the drawers in your bedroom, making sure there were no mix-ups and nothing had ended up in Charlie's underwear drawer.

When you got to the last drawer, which was Charlie's sock and underwear drawer, probably 3 scrunchies and 12 other colored hairties were in the back of the drawer, tucked away. You picked up the small drawer he had been keeping them in and walked out of the room and into the kitchen where he was eating.

You held it up and he smiled innocently.

"Where did you find those?"

"In your sock drawer."

"Oh, I wonder why," he said, looking down and taking another bite of his oatmeal.

"Charlie, why are you taking my hairties?" It was obvious that he was thinking about whether to tell you the truth or deny it further.

"Because they're cute! And they smell like your hair, which smells really good!" He finally said, blushing a little.

"You could ask," you suggested, tying your hair up. You picked out a small red and black scrunchie and put it on his wrist. He smiled. "You can wear that, but I need the rest back so my hair isn't in my face." You grinned. "You're cute when you blush."

"I thought I would sound stupid if I asked for one of your hairties so I just took it. It seemed logical at the time," he shrugged.

You giggled and dumped the hairties into your hair drawer in the bathroom before giving him a kiss and heading out to the car to go shopping.

You twirled your ponytail around your finger and smiled, happy that Charlie now just had one of your hairties and not all of them.
