This is such an important rule, one that most Wattpad writers ignore. Make sure your readers understand your writing and grammar. Talking "like dis" may confuse some readers and might not confuse other readers. When you write a proper book, use advanced words and avoid typos, texting abbreviations, texting grammar, and most of all emojis. However, if your character talks "like dis," then go with it but keep it within quotation marks.
