24. Strength

"You gave me strength...everytime;
Eventhough you never knew..."

"Eunhyuk?" said Donghae; lightly stroking his hair, "what's troubling you?"

They were both lying on the floor of the practice room, tired out after months and hours of endless dancing.

"Donghae?" said Eunhyuk gripping his hand. "Do you think my father would accept us?"

"Your mother did Eunhyuk, and you already know that my mom would always love you, no matter what"

Eunhyuk laughed and stroked Donghae's hand
"I know it, but it'll take more than a life time to convince my dad"

"Well...in that case; do you want me to talk to him?" asked Donghae with a crooked smile and Hyukjae slapped his hand away.

"Over my dead body" he said furiously. "I'd rather go and let him kill me Donghae...I won't ever let him do anything to you"

Donghae smiled at him and gave him a long kiss on the forehead.

"You are strong Hyukjae" he said gripping Eunhyuk's hand tightly. "I've seen you facing worse situations than this"

"Yeah but my dad comes tomorrow Donghae, and you know I-"

Donghae placed a finger on his lips, and Eunhyuk looked at him; his smoky dark eyes taking him in.

"I love you Hyukjae" he said soflty "nothing can change that...if things don't go well, then we'll somehow find a way"

Hyukjae cuddled closer to him and pressed his face into Donghae's tshirt.

"My mom told me that I'm her precious jewel the last time we met" said Eunhyuk smiling "what do you call me?"

Donghae looked as if he was thinking hard and Hyukjae slapped him playfully until Donghae leaned forward and kissed him hard.

"You are my universe" he whispered smiling into Eunhyuk's ear.

"Then I hope that I'll be able to be your universe forever" said Eunhyuk is a muffled voice.

"You will Eunhyuk...because I know you are strong enough to protect this love we have"

"Donghae" said Eunhyuk; his voice breaking "you simply have no idea how precious you are to me"

"Don't worry too much Eunhyuk you are not going to a battle" laughed Donghae; trying hard to steer Hyukjae's paranoia away, but Eunhyuk didn't smile back.

"If I won't control myself tomorrow, then it'll become a real battle" sighed Eunhyuk; staring up.

"Whatever happens tomorrow Hyukjae, I won't stop loving you" said Donghae solidly.
