Once the door flew open, me and Alexa ran to grab something sharp and hide. Unless we could apprehend an enemy with a chair leg, we were in trouble. But who walked in, was what surprised us. It was a boy and a girl, no older than we were. The guy had short black hair in quiff form. How he did it? I had no idea. But it was the girl that caught my attention the most. She had wavy brown hair with flowers in it, and had bright blue eyes. I know it sound's pretentious, but I ran my hand through my hair feeling self-conscious about myself. They didn't seem to notice we were hear, because they started talking. "What are we going to do?" the girl said. "I don't know. They'll be here any minute now." the guy said. Who were they talking about? "If they find us, we'll be in so much trouble that they won't bother with a trial. Just in case, we need to find a place to keep-" "QUIET" the guy said, interrupting her sentence. "You don't know who is listening in on us." Well isn't that ironic. Alexa tried to suppress a laugh, but she still shook the bed frame. Luckily, the strangers didn't notice. "We should burn it." the girl said. "Along with the rest of the room. Good Idea." the guy said. I was thinking of a way to sneak out when Alexa sneezed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"WHO GOES THERE!" the guy said, searching around everywhere. I shot a look at Alexa and she tried to shrug like, 'It's not my fault, it's dusty down here'. What infuriated me the most was that we would be stopped so early in our quest. Not to mention the fact that this was the most cliché way of getting caught. "On three, we bolt for the door. Got it?" I whispered. She nodded. "1" i said. "2" she said. "THREE!" We both said, running for the door. I had adrenaline running through my veins. It didn't last long though. They had closed the door, and apparently locked it from the inside. Or I just couldn't open a door handle while running towards it. Either one is a possibility. "What are you doing here?" the girl said. "I-we-we were just- I mean-" "This is our room, so we should be the ones asking you." Alexa finished for me. I decided to let her do the talking so I wouldn't embarrass myself any more than I already had. "How much of our conversation did you hear?" he asked. "Enough to know that we shoudl't be associating with you." Alexa said. "Your not going anywhere." The man said. "What are you going to do to stop us?" Alexa said. "Nothing. But," the girl said. "We need your help. And you need ours."
