Eliana laid in bed with Damon as the sun started to rise. The Gilbert girl listened to Damon as he told her about how his life had been growing up. They also listened to how Stefan trashed his room.
Stefan had returned to Mystic Falls in hope that he could free Katherine from the tomb. This caused a huge drift among him and Elena. Eliana couldn't help but think, was Stefan into Elena just because she reminded him of Katherine?
"You've been awake for the past two hours." Damon said as Eliana laid against his chest.
"How do you know?" Eliana asked with a small smile as she kept her head resting against Damon's chest.
"I've felt you draw the alphabets on my chest for the past two hours." Damon said getting Eliana to bring her drawings to a stop.
"Sorry. I've just been having a hard time sleeping. My mind has been wandering around." Eliana said as Damon positioned himself to look down at her.
"Talk to me. What's going on in that beautiful head of yours." Damon said getting Eliana to sigh and get up.
Eliana left Damon in bed and went into the bathroom. She walked to the shower and turned the water on all the way and went back to the bed, which wasn't far.
As she hopped back onto the bed and brought herself onto a sitting position Damon looked at her with his undivided attention.
"I was thinking..." Eliana started as she pushed some hair behind her ear. "I'm going to help you find another way to get into that tomb." She said as Damon quickly sat up.
"Eli, this is something that..." Damon started before Eliana shook her head.
"Hearing you last night... All the pain and anger this woman has brought into you..." Eliana said as she took a hold of Damon's hand. "It angered me." She said followed by a sigh.
"Therefore I am going to help you get into that tomb so that you can serve your revenge." Eliana said as Damon couldn't help but bring a small smile onto his face.
"I can't change your mind. Can I?" Damon asked getting Eliana to chuckle and shake her head. "I swear I don't deserve you." He said as he brought her hand up to his lips and planted a kiss onto it.
"Now, I am going to get up and you're going to take me home. I let Stefan use my car so he could take Bonnie home." Eliana said getting Damon to nod.
