Moving in with the Griers (On Hold)

Chapter 11

The boys all came off stage and try to get me on stage, but I refuse. They eventually give up. All the boys go on stage accept Hayes.

"Come on stage with me Madison." Hayes says.

"No. I refuse to. " I tell him.

"Please." Hayes begs making a puppy face.

"No." I reply.

"To bad." Hayes says throwing me over his shoulder.

"Put me down." I demand.

"Nope." He says popping the p.

He runs on stage and sets me down, holding my waist so I can't escape.

"You're just in time for questions." Cameron says. Great.

"Okay so who has questions?" Nash asks.

The girls go crazy. Once they calm down Nash chooses a girl in the first row.

"Okay, so my question is for Hayes.  Are you and that girl next to you dating? " She asks.

He looks at me and I nod.

"Yes, Madison and I are dating." He answers. Then a bunch of girls start yelling Mayes, our ship name.

"How did you two meet? " another girls shouts.

"I moved in with them, after my parents died." I reply.

My eyes tear up. Before I can start crying Hayes kisses my cheek, assuring me that I am okay.

Nash calls on another girl.

"This is for Hayes.  Why did you kiss that girl when you are dating Madison?" She asks.

I look at Hayes. My heart breaks once I see a guilty look in his eyes. I start to tear up.

"What does she mean?" I ask.

"Madison. I can explain." He starts.

"No Hayes. I don't want an explanation! " I yell, running off the stage crying.

          ~HAYES'S POINT OF VIEW ~

"No Hayes. I don't want an explanation! " She yells. Then she runs off the stage, crying.

I feel horrible. I didn't mean to kiss that girl. We were talking pictures with fans and she asked if she I could kiss her cheek in the picture. Well I did but she turned her head and kissed me. I mean I did kiss back for a few seconds, but then Madison popped into my head. I immediately felt horrible.

"What is wrong with you." Nash yells at me as he and the rest of the guys run after Madison.

I'm alone on stage now. I collapse.

"Shows over, everyone leave!" I yell. Once I am alone I start crying.

         ~MADISON'S POINT OF VIEW~

The boys run after me. I can't run anymore.  I fall to the floor, crying. The boys kneel down next to me. I feel a hand on my back.

"How could he do that?" I sob.

"Hayes is an idiot." Nash says.

Jack G helps me back upstairs. We go into his room. We watch a movie and end up cuddling.  He puts his arm around me and pulls me closer. I lay my head on his chest. I look up at him and he looks down at me. He leans in to kiss me and I let him. We hold the kiss for 5 seconds and then pull apart.

"Im sorry it's just that..." Jack G starts.

"It's okay, just let's not talk about it. I still love Hayes. I'm just mad and confused." I say, cutting Jack off.

I leave his room and go sit on the couch.

"Guys were back." I Cameron announces.

Hayes comes and sits on the couch.

" Can I explain what happened? " Hayes asks.

" I don't want to talk to you right now. " I reply, getting up and walking away.

I look back at Hayes to see him crying. I feel horrible. I want to know the truth. I want things to go back to normal. I go in my room and take a short nap. When I wake up I go into the living room and plop down on the couch.

"Hi Maddi. " Cameron says.

"Hi. Uhh is Hayes here?" I ask.

" No, but I can go get him." He replies.

"No. I don't want to see him." I tell him.

"You should listen to what he has to say though. " He tries to say.

"I don't want to. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but he hurt me. I trusted him and he let me down." I explain.

"I understand that and I..." He starts.

"No, I don't think you do. Both of my parents died and that knocked me down pretty hard. Then he comes in at my most vulnerable moment and picks me back up just to knock me back down." I explain. My eyes begin to tear up.

"Im sorry. " Cameron says.

"It's not your fault. " I say, "Its Hayes's. " Then I start crying. Cam tries to comfort me, but it was a vain attempt.

Once I stop crying I decide to go somewhere to calm down. A dance studio.
