June 22, 18:45 EDT

"Isla Santa Prisca." Batman began. "This Island nation is the primary source of a dangerous and illegal neurosteroid, a strength-enhancing drug sold under the code name venom."

"Infrared heat signatures indicate their factory is still operating at full capacity. But all shipments of venom have been inexplicably cut off-"

Batman continued with the mission briefing, but Claire tuned him out, more focused on the monster growling in her stomach.

As if to say, 'If I don't get fed, I'll end all life.'

She looked over longingly at Wally and his potato chips. The aroma washing over her nose and taking over her senses.

She felt a pull to them like they were calling to her. She moved in closer to Wally and tried to sneak at least a single chip out of his bag before her hand was promptly swatted away.

By now, Batman's debriefing was over, and Wally was staring at her in amusement before moving the bag of chips further away from her.

Claire scowled; her stomach rumbled loudly, surely loud enough for him to hear it.

"Sharing is caring, freckles."

"Good thing I don't care then." He replied with a smirk before popping another one into his mouth, staring directly into her eyes.

"You jerk. The only reason I'm still starving in here is because you ate all the food." She countered, pointing an accusing finger at the crumbs around his lips.

Wally placed a hand over his heart, "Did I?" He asked before swallowing the last two chips in front of her and burping for good measure.

"Wow, that really hit the spot." He snickered, rubbing his stomach through his suit and bringing a challenging glint to Claire's eyes.

"Fine." She sighed, slowly walking backward with her hands up in surrender. "You win this round, but I promise. My vengeance will be swift."

Wally raised an eyebrow at her comment and shrugged his shoulders, following her after she walked out of the room and toward the hangar.

CARIBBEAN SEA

June 22, 20:08 ECT

"We're approaching Santa Prisca," M'gann announced.

"Drop zone A in thirty."

Kaldur stepped out of his seat, which disappeared back into the ship, and pushed the emblem on his belt. His suit transformed from its regular red shade to a shade of black.

"Ready," He confirmed.

"Putting bioship in camouflage mode." M'gamn notified, the outside of the ship becoming transparent.

The Martian placed her hand out, and a hatch appeared on the floor of the ship; Kaldur turned and nodded at the team before jumping into the sea.

After moments of M'gann flying the ship Kaldur's voice rang through the coms, "Heat and motion censors are patched. Data now move on a continuous loop. Move-in."

"Roger that Aqualad," Claire responded before nodding at M'gann to move in.

"Drop Zone B." The Martian declared, and everyone stood up from their seats.
