LUKE PATTERSON
You were watching Julie and the boys rehearse for their show tonight when you suddenly got hungry. "I'm going to get some snacks. Want anything?"
"Takis! They're in the first cabinet." Julie said. You nodded, making your way to the house. You grabbed Julie's takis and picked up the Oreos for yourself. "Oh, hey, Y/N!"
"Carlos! What's up, little man?" He smirks and pointed towards the garage with his thumb. "My sister is talking to herself again. That's what's up. Can I grab a couple?" He asked, nodding over at the Oreos. You take a couple of cookies and shove the tray over at him. "Take them, and I'll just grab a few."
You made your way back to the garage but stopped when you heard Julie and Luke talk. "Tell me, Luke, I was going through the songs in your book and found one that caught my eye."
"Really? Which one is it?"
"Possibilities," you watched Luke nearly choke. "This one wasn't darkened!"
"Oh, no." Reggie suddenly said.
"Who knew Luke wrote love songs?" You smiled. "I bet we all know who it is about?" You smiled again and waited for Luke's response.
"It's nothing. It's not even a love song!"
You heard Alex chuckle, "Yeah, right. That's the song you've been working on for the past few weeks!"
"Yes, but it's not a love song!"
You watched Julie open the notebook. "Oh? Really?" Alex and Reggie encouraged her to read some lyrics.
"Don't break my heart before I give it to you. It feels like there's something here, but I wanna see it before it disappears, and if there's something real between me and you, well, are we both open to all these possibilities—" Luke snatched the notebook from Julie's hand, blushing.
"Now, give this back before Y/N comes back!" Luke realizing he just admitted the song was about you and him blushed harder.
"Oh, no," Reggie said again. You waited before entering. "What did I miss?" You sit in front of Luke and look at him. He didn't know how to act anymore.
"Not much. We-we were talking about changing around some chords," you smiled at Luke's white lie. You stared at him, and he stared back.
"Really? I thought you guys were talking about a love song you wrote about the two of us? I actually loved the first part," you said. Luke stunned that you heard everything, was taken aback a little. "Luke, promise me you'll sing it to me one day."
He smiled, showing his dimples before answering. "I promise."
"Good, it's a date."
