Day 9: (MyStreet)

Malissa's PoV:

"Coffee's ready, you two," I say. I walk over to Aaron and Aphmau sitting at their table.

"Thanks, Malissa," Aph says, she's holding Aaron's hand. I suppress my urge to fangirl as I hand both of them their mugs. I grab my mug as I sit down next to them.

"How did you sleep last night, Aphmau?" I ask.

"Much better now that Aaron is with me," Aph replies, giving Aaron's hand a squeeze. Aaron blushes a deep red.

"It's nice to have Shu with me," Aaron replies.

"That's good, I was a little worried that you two wouldn't get much sleep after last night's party," I say giving them a bright smile. Aphmau smiles back before giving me a worried look.

"That reminds me Malissa; how is everyone? I was so exhausted last night I hardly talked to anyone," Aphmau says. I remember she went to bed early last night so she missed a lot of her and Travis's welcome home party.

I tap my chin in deep thought. I try to remember how everyone said they were doing before replying, "Hmm... Everyone is recovering. Lucinda is tapping into her magics again; she's nowhere near how powerful she was before, but she's doing really well."

"That's good, what about Zane? I didn't see him at the party last night," Aphmau asks. "I expected him to barrel through everybody to give me a hug shouting about how I'm his best friend."

I giggle at her words that actually was his plan. Aaron looks at Aphmau with a worried expression.

"I thought I was your best friend Shu," Aaron whimpers.

"Don't worry you're in a different category Aaron," Aph reassures, lightly bumping her shoulder on his as I try my hardest not to squeal. Aphmau looks at me questioningly. I realize I haven't answered her question

"Zane is doing alright; Garroth said he just went on a small business trip with his parent's he should be back soon," I reassure. "As far as recovery is going out of everyone who became a relic he's doing the best. He stopped calling everyone numbers about a month ago; I mean... I guess it comes up sometimes when he's upset."

Aphmau smiles before looking at Aaron, "Aaron told me how he's doing last night."

I smile too. My little brother is still far from recovering; he can recall a couple of things from the past mostly involving Aphmau. He's also getting better at moving around despite being blind. He's getting better at identifying things from touch and sound; he'll need help sometimes, but for the most part, he can tell what's going on.

Aphmau squeezes Aaron's hand again as she leans over and gives him a soft peck on the cheek. Aaron turns a darker shade of red than before. He quickly takes a sip of his coffee, but he spills it on himself.

"Ow," Aaron mutters. Aphmau quickly grabs a napkin.

"Careful Aaron," Aphmau scolds, wiping the coffee off of him. I can't hold it back anymore, I let out a small squeal. I turn a bright shade of red as Aphmau smirks and raises an eyebrow at me.

"Sorry, it's just you two look so cute together," I splutter. Aphmau giggles while Aaron looks at me clearly confused.

"Malissa you sounded like Kawaii~Chan," Aaron remarks. Aphmau stops giggling, she looks down and frowns.

"How is Kawaii~Chan doing?" Aph asks. I look at her confused as my face returns to its original color.

"What do you mean? She's fine; she recovered from her injuries months ago," I say puzzled.
