I pull up sheets off myself and get out of bed, I feel really relaxed for some reason, my body isn't sore like it usually is in the morning, I guess I should get cracking though, where's my hat, there it is- two?
"What happened last night?"
Hmm... Last I remember I was working on a pyromancy glove at my desk, I look over to see a desk with a
cage containing agni, I don't have him in my room, wait... This isn't my room? Then where am I?
???: Hmm? Master, where'd you go...?
"H-Himiko!? Why are you here!?"
Himiko: Nyeh? This is my room.
"Your-"
Now I remember, last night I was going to wait until she fell asleep to leave and sleep in my own room, but I must've slipped away.
"Sorry Himiko, I was just a little dazed, I didn't remember where I was."
Himiko: It's okay master, thank you for staying with me.
"I-It was nothing! I was just helping you out that's all!"
Himiko: Nyeh, it's okay master, I know you're embarrassed to have slept in the same bed as a girl... I know I was...
"What was that last bit?"
Himiko: Nothing!
"If you say so, here."
Himiko: Nyeh?
I pick up and put my hat on, then hand Himiko hers, she out it on and crawled out of bed.
"So, any plans today?"
Himiko: No, I thought we were practicing today?
"We can practice any day, I wanna treat you."
Himiko: Nyeh? Why?
"You've been making major strides in your development as a mage, you deserve it."
Himiko: Nyeh, okay Y/N.
"Anything specific you'd like? Something sweet maybe?"
Himiko: Maybe... Ice cream?
"Anything you want my dear apprentice."
Himiko pulled her hat down to hide her blush.
Himiko: I-If you say so.
"Wanna head out now?"
Himiko: Can I get ready first?
"Sure, I'll go wait outside."
Himiko nodded and I left her room.
As I stepped out into the hall I heard someone call out to me, it's shuichi.
Shuichi: Good morning Y/N.
"Mornin- And a good morning to you as well."
Shuichi: That storm last night am I right? It knocked out a generator for the dorms.
"Yes I am aware, it was quite the event, I was wrapped up in deep research when it occurred."
Shuichi: Everyone was pretty uneasy too, but kazuichi and iruma sorted it out.
