Olivia couldn't look away from the stage as her knees hit the hard tile step. The tears flowing out of her eyes now; the overwhelming feeling of defeat sinking in deeply. Although, she was still completely in shock at the idea of never seeing the boys again. Or talking to them... she never even got to tell Luke the truth. It didn't matter what Caleb had said- it was the first time in her life that she had truly felt a connection to someone- but now, it was gone.

Her head shook; her mind unable to fully process what was happening. Then suddenly, arms grasped onto her from either side.

"L-Liv!?"

Olivia furrowed her brows at the voice. She glanced over to her side, seeing Carrie holding onto her arm. Her face full of worry and concern; her eyes wide as she looked from her face, to her arms, to her legs.

"S-someone! Call for help!" Another voice yelled from beside her, making her glance the other way; tears still sliding down her cheeks. It was Sam. His jaw was clenched as his eyes darted around the crowd and then back at her.

Olivia shook her head, but before she could speak, Ray's voice turned her attention. Her eyes fell upon him, Carlos, Julie's aunt, and Flynn.

"Olivia! What happened?!" He freaked, looking her over. She supposed she looked worse than what she had imagined. The thing was, everything felt numb. Other than the agonizing pain her heart was in. All she could think about was everything she didn't get to say...

She felt her lip start to quiver, and everyone's eyes widened. Her vision blurred as tears welled into her eyes, and the sob that escaped her lips made them all start to pour out. "I didn't make it- in time." She cried, and she felt Ray pull her into a hug.

She sobbed harder into him, pulling her legs up. Was it bad nothing hurt anymore?

"Can we go home?" Olivia asked softly through sobs. She felt Ray take a deep breath, and there was a pause as she heard the hum of voices talking. They probably wanted to take her to a hospital or something, but that was the last place she wanted to be. She just wanted to go home- so she could be alone for a while...

"Yeah." Ray finally answered her, and she felt him move. She leant back, and he picked her up. She looked over to where Sam and Carrie were still standing. They were tense, and had expression of worry still very much plastered on their faces.

She managed a smile at them before Ray began to walk up the stairs. Her head fell against him, as her eyes began to feel heavy with tears and exhaustion. The sadness overtaking her, and the defeat making its way through her completely- she closed her eyes.

Olivia squinted her eyes as she felt herself being placed down. She looked to her side; her vision fading back into normality. Ray was standing over her with Julie beside him. She could see Carlos peeking in from the doorway.

Ray and Julie managed smiles, while Carlos still had a terrified look on his face. It made her sad to think how much pain she's put him through.

"We just got home." Ray said, sitting on the edge of her bed and placing his hand on hers.

Olivia pressed her lips together, looking away as everything came flooding back in. She thought by being in her room, it would ease her pain, but no. She felt just as horrible as she did kneeling on that step at the Orpheum.

"It's been a long night, and I'm going to give you time to get better, but I need to know what happened to you, alright? Whenever you're ready." Ray said, and she glanced back over. He had a smile still curled on his lips.
