Ji-Pyeong was getting restless when Dal-Mi didn't show up to Sandbox. She was usually the one who came early. Did his letter have an adverse effect on her? Should he call her?
He rubbed his neck in frustration, regretting writing her that. He must've overstepped his boundaries by replacing Do-San's name. But it really was the truth. He didn't want her to think of Do-San when she read them.
Ji-Pyeong remembered taking Dal-Mi home yesterday night. She had trouble even standing up, that's how much drunk she was. He ended carrying her on his back out of the restaurant and all the way to his car.
It wasn't an easy task but he didn't mind. He didn't mind at all. She kept mumbling about Demo Day, how nervous she was and how she couldn't face Do-San after what he'd done.
Ji-Pyeong realized how deep their relationship must've turned for Dal-Mi to be this concerned about it. He wasn't sure if he even had a chance to win her heart because all this time Do-San had been creating a space there.
By the time he reached her home, Dal-Mi had passed out in his car.
Seeing her there beside him, Ji-Pyeong felt happy. All he wanted was Seo Dal-Mi to notice him, question every move he made and look at him the way she looked at Do-San, maybe even more.
He knew he was far away from his third wish, but he was happy that he'd at least taken a step forward.
Ji-Pyeong called halmoni asking if she was home yet. When she said she wasn't, he felt slightly happier. He could stay a little longer with Dal-Mi.
