Chapter 12: Backup Plan

Dal-Mi reached the office with firmness infused in her mind. She knew she had to give her best today in order to plan her future ahead. There were many strings attached to the Demo Day. They had to impress the investors in order to gain secure funding for the next three years.

NoonGil should move forward with a force and not halt because she couldn't control her emotions.

Mr. Han's letter had given her a vote of confidence which she appreciated with all her heart. He told her to hit a reset button. That's what she intended to do for today. Forget everything she knew about both of them. Only focus on Demo Day presentation.

She waited by the door, peeking inside. All the team members had already assembled, discussing something.

Dal-Mi took a deep breath, tied her hair up and headed inside.

"Good morning, Samsan Tech." She said, smiling broadly like everything is normal. "Are you all ready for today?"

They all stared at her a little confusedly. Sa-ha's eyes travelled between her and Do-San, definitely evaluating what was going on.

"Let's go over everything one more time before they call me for rehearsal." She said, placing her bag on the table. "I still have a little doubt on the OCR process. How much was the accuracy on it again?"

"Dal-Mi-ah," Do-San said, his eyes never moving from her to anything else. "We'll back you up on the technical details. You can focus more on the distribution layout."
