Priscilla: "Before any of this begins, you, the girl with the black hair."

Maria: "Sup bitch?"

Priscilla: "D'mitri's waiting for you over at that building. He demands a one-on-one."

Maria: "Who?"

Priscilla: "The man with the mask. He wants a rematch. He also said he... "brought you what you wanted." I don't know whether he was supposed to be menacing or serious."

Maria: "Oh right, that guy."

Priscilla: You don't have to worry about an ambush or anything, he made us all promise not to interfere."

Nero: "And you think we'd believe a promise made between terrorists? You—"

Maria: "Who said I was worried?"

Priscilla: "It's up to you whether you believe me or not. He is a prideful guy, he told us that this will either be where he dies or proves his strength."

Maria: "Prideful, huh? Guess we have that in common"
She said walked forward with an undaunted, uninterested expression.

Felix: "Marie? What are you doing?"

Priscilla: "Don't worry about traps either, we were there yesterday... then again, that was yesterday ago, who knows what he could've changed? The only thing I can guarantee is that none of us will interfere in your battle."

Felix: "Marie, this is reckless, even for you!"

Maria: "Felix... have I ever once lost to anyone?"

Felix: "Yeah, when you got shot in the head."

Maria: "I was protecting you that time. This time, nothing is holding me back."

Felix: "MARIE! What's wrong with you?!"

Maria looked back to Felix with a cold, yet genuine smile: "Felix... just trust me. You and I are the children of stars, remember?"

Nero: "Children of what?"

Maria: "You all better not lose just because I'm not here."

Maria said as she walked away, towards the building in the distance. Though both Felix and Nero tried to stop her with psychic power, she continued her march, completely unfazed.

Maria: "Sup, the white-haired bitch told me you had something for me?"

Dmitri: "I do...here."

Maria: "...Huh, tacos? I didn't think you'd actually bring some."

Dmitri: "I got some for myself. Don't worry, it's not poisoned or anything. I'm sure someone known as the Venom--"

*Crunch*

Maria: "Mhm, that's that good shit. Thanks for this."

Dmitri: "--- No problem. Think of it as your last meal. With the strength of this new body of mine, your life will end here."

Maria: "Aw, its cute that you think you can kill me. Then again, you just missed your chance to kill me by not poisoning this..."

D'mitri: "Killing you with trickery and deceit will not prove my strength."

Maria: "Oh? And killing me with weapons will?"

D'mitri: "The weapons are only here to level the playing field between you and I, monster."

Maria: "Is that right? Well, can you at least let me finish this before we begin?"

D'mitri: "Go ahead."

After she had finished the taco, a battle ensued between the two.

D'mitri blitzed towards her in a blink of an eye, but not faster than Maria could react. She was able to dodge and back away as quickly as he attacked.

Maria reached out her arm towards him, but noticed that none of her aura could wrap around him.

D'mitri: "My body is filled with anti-psychic nanomachines. You can't use psychic power against me now."

Maria: "Doesn't mean I can't use it on everything else..."

The two continued to fight, with Maria creating projectiles out of everything in her disposal, with wires and debris, as she danced around the D'mitri's massive, mechanical arms. All the while, D'mitri continued a siege of barrages, and almost five hundred blows were struck within the past two minutes.

Maria: "Psychic power doesn't work against you? And everything I throw at you doesn't seem to work."

D'mitri: "That's right. Thanks to you, I've become stronger than I could ever hope to be."

Not long after, Maria had ended her assault, no longer attacking and simply evaded.

The battle continued for over five minutes, up until a mistake—

A single failure.

A single slip-up.

Maria's falls to the ground as her arm had been torn off by a quick blow.

Proud of his achievement, D'mitri backed away to catch his breath.

"Finally... she's dead." D'mitri sighed.

Maria: "Is that what you think? Don't ever turn your back on an enemy"

????: "Neither should you." A gun fired from behind, shooting Maria from the back of the head.

Dmitri: "JULIUS!"

Julius: "Thank you, D'mitri. Because of you, I've finally gotten my revenge."

Dmitri: "How dare you! We made a promise—"

Julius: "You made a promise with the fangs. Which I'm no longer a part of." Julius said as he looked to the body on the ground, leaking blood in front of them.

Dmitri: "What?!"

Julius: "I've told you before, didn't I? That I would leave the Jackal's fangs when I reach my end goal. Thanks to you, I've finally found her."

Dmitri: "Is that a fact? So then, now that you're no longer one of us, I suppose you don't mind if I take your life? You killed my prey after all."

Julius: "You're still al—!" Before Julius could finish, he was flung away by Dmitri's mechanical arm.

Dmitri: "I'm sorry about that. I told them not to interfere..."

Maria: "I'm actually grateful. Thanks to you... parts of my brain regenerated. I remember it all clearly." Maria stood up, yet blood splattered over her own face and body, she stood, completely unfazed.

Maria: "Still... regenerating an arm takes much longer than a few cells..."

Dmitri: "Then maybe the two of us can continue... though it won't be much of a challenge now. After all, you look like you could use a h—"

D'mitri: "You look like you could use a ha—ARGH!"

A massive gust of wind whipped around the area as his words were stopped with a kick to the face.

As Dmitri stutters over, Julius lifts his head up

Julius: "It really is you... you monster..."

Maria: "I admit, you're strong... if Felix had fought you, he'd likely have died... and if he died... I don't know what I would've done. So I'm glad you chose me as the target of your rage. You're strong enough... for me not to hold back."

Beams and spears of light radiated, illuminating the whole area, to the whole floor, to the whole building.

Until it all crashed apart.
