Foundation & Concealer
Foundation and concealer are best when they are matte, smooth and in beige shades.

Avoid any shiny or dewy finishes with warm undertones which will ultimately clash with your naturally cooler complexions.

Colours: pale true beige, light neutral beige, nude beige, pink beige, rose beige, medium beige

Bronzer & Highlighter
Thanks to the influence of the warmer Autumn, Soft Summers can handle small amounts of bronzing and contouring. A medium pink-gold powder is a great bronzer for you to use. For contouring, choose a cool, matte colour or a powder foundation that is two shades darker than you would normally wear.

Make sure to blend your products in really well, and apply them gently in swirls. You don't want to create any harsh lines since you are a soft season.

Colours: pink

Eyeshadow
Your neutral shadow colours are the soft creams, browns and greys that are on your palette.

For highlighting shadows, opt for the more muted, cool pinks, plums, blues or greens from your palette.

When choosing eyeshadows, opt for a matte finish. This will gently compliment your muted appearance. Stay away from products with any shimmer or glitter in them as this will make you look like a clown.

Avoid overly dark, bright colours or those with a strong warm, yellow tone to it. Bright colours will make you appear clownish and warm undertones will drain you.

Colours: lemon, champagne, apricot, melon, soft pink, cocoa, smoke, mint, jade, teal, navy, plum, off-white, pale hazel-wood, dark khaki, soft umber, brown stone, chocolate brown, aubergine, pale indigo, Aegean, soft ocean.

Mascara
As one of the most muted seasons, your colours are non-saturated. This means that any colour too bold or bright will stick out on you like a sore thumb. The same is true for black mascara. It's far too harsh on you.

Better options if you still prefer mascara and like the look of slightly darker lashes are a cool shade of chocolate brown or dark grey shades.

Colours: chocolate brown, dark grey

Eyeliner
Eyeliners come in browns, greys and more colourful purple or navy colours. If you really want to make your eyes pop, go for a similar colour of eyeliner to your natural eyes.

It's often better to choose a different colour of eyeliner than the eyeshadow, instead of a darker colour. But make sure that the eyeliner is not much darker than the eyeshadow to avoid creating an obvious line.

Colours: coffee, aubergine, granite, dark blue, chocolate brown, grey, dark grey, navy.

Blush
You have a wide variety of blushes to choose from since your palette contains a lot of pinks.

Make sure to opt for matte finishes; anything sparkly or shiny will look wrong on you. And make sure to blend the product in well as you don't want to create an obvious harsh line.

Avoid blushes that are overly warm, like oranges and reds that will clash with your cooler complexion.

Colours: rose, soft plum, pale amaranth, soft pink, raspberry, pale rosewood, dark grape, soft mulberry.

Lipstick
Lipstick colours come in a range of blue-based pinks and purples.

Opt for matte finishes. Anything else will really stick out on you, particularly glossy and sparkly finishes.

Colours: pink shell, dusty rose, plum rose, mulberry, soft mauve, soft mulberry, petal pink, pale mauve, magenta, grape, pale berry.
