Foundation & Concealer
Foundation and concealer are best when they are thin, liquid and gently pink-based, in beige shades. Creamy complexion makeup may look heavy on your light appearance, so stay away from heavier complexions.

Make sure to choose matter finishes or finish your foundation off with translucent face powder. Shiny finishes look off on a Light Summer.

Colours: palest beige, pale true beige, pale natural beige, light pink beige, rose beige, bare beige.

Bronzer & Highlighter
Bronzing and contouring usually doesn't look good on a Light Summer because their light complexion may not be able to handle darker and more earthier bronzing and contouring colours.

But if bronzer is too tempting for you, that's okay so long as you pick a pinkish Tone. Make sure your bronzer is not too warm or yellow-based. The most important thing here is to not overly apply your bronzer. It has to be very delicately applied to your skin.

But it's best to just stay away from contouring altogether as it can look heavy and dark, especially on your light complexion.

Colours: pink, pink beige, blush, light peach, light gold, medium gold.

Eyeshadow
Your best eyeshadow will come from the creams, brown and greys in your palette. The results are: rice, cocoa and blueish slate grey.

For highlighting eyeshadows, opt for the gentle pastels with blue or pink undertone on your palette. Your more colourful options are purples, greens and darker blues.

When choosing eyeshadows, opt for sheer colours.

Avoid dark, bright colours or those with a warm yellow undertone. Bright colours would make you look like a clown and yellow undertones will drain you.

Colours: champagne, soft pink, opal, lilac, plum, pewter, grey, blue grey, slate, aqua, soft teal, cocoa, rice, cream, dusty peach, soft grey, slate grey, soft mauve, lilac, powder blue, dark azure, sapphire, pale teal.

Mascara
Wearing black mascara would look too harsh on your appearance and it can come across as aggressive against your light complexion.

Better choices than black are midnight blue and cool shades of dark grey, they may be hard to find but are a better wear than black.

Colours: dark grey, iron grey, midnight blue.

Eyeliner
Your eyeliner colours are similar to the mascara, with the addition of a bigger variety for more brighter options. You can get away with eyeliners like: colourful dark plum, navy and sea green shades. If you want to draw attention to your eyes, choose an eyeliner in your colour.

But make sure to avoid black as this looks to harsh and will create an obvious line. Your more acceptable darker colours are slate grey and navy.

Colours: amethyst, granite, dark blue, cocoa, grey, slate grey, dark plum, navy, tea green.

Blush
Your blush colours are cool pinks and violets. Your perfect blush shade will depend on your natural skin tone, so some trial and error may be required before finding your perfect match.

Make sure to steer clear of overly bright, orange-based blushes as well as too much shimmer. Choose a matter blush finish.

Colours: rose, light pink, pink, watermelon, rouge, punch.

Lipstick
Like blush colours, lipsticks range from pinks to cool violets. When you're selecting a lipstick, make sure it's not too intense as Light Summer cannot handle a lot of brightness.

Opt for matter formulations, nothing too glossy or shiny.

Colours: pink shell, dusty rose, rose pink, soft plum, light pink, petal pink, mulberry, plum, raspberry, punch.
