Foundation & Concealer
Best foundations and concealers are when they are natural, dewy and peach-based but not yellow.Avoid blue-based shades that have cool undertones because it will clash with your warm complexion. Try and avoid matte finishes too.
Bronzer & Highlighter
Luckily for you, bronzers aren't for Spring but can be manageable for Bright Springs. Just make sure that your bronzer is neither muddy nor grey. Instead, search for peachy, yellower undertones in your bronzer. And if you're too scared to use bronzer, you could always opt for using highlighter. But your colours should not be too golden and yellow, as this will make you look painted in makeup and it won't suit you the same.
Colours: light peach, light gold, medium gold.
Eyeshadow
Neutral eyeshadows are the colours on your palette relating to: cream, champagne, grey and taupe. Bright Spring is the darkest and brightest out of the Spring family, which means that you can wear a daring eye look without feeling insecure about the clashing. For the highlight and accent eyeshadow colours, opt for the brighter colours on your palette. Peaches and corals are especially nice. Grape, turquoise and emerald all look amazing on you.
Make sure to avoid muddy colours that take away the brightness of your complexion. Also avoid going too dark, since your season is bright and not dark. Also avoid shadows with very matte finishes.
Colours: ivory, pale beech, pale light pink, cocoa, pewter, charcoal, pale magenta, grape, Aegean, turquoise, lime green, emerald, champagne, apricot, soft pink, spruce, mint, teal, navy, deep brown.
Mascara
Your best colours are charcoal, dark grey or dark taupe.Since Bright Spring is influenced by winter, true black is also an option, (lucky you!) However, it's darker and colder than your ideal colours, so make sure to add warmer and lighter eyeshadows to balance the coolness of the look.
Colours: charcoal, dark taupe, dark grey.
Eyeliner
The same colours for mascara goes for eyeliner, but beware that anything darker than dark grey might look too heavy on you. Instead, you should opt for brighter colours such as emerald, turquoise, purple and amethyst. This will bring out your striking eyes, so don't feel shy.Colours: emerald, turquoise, purple, amethyst, dark grey, spruce, teal, violet blue, amethyst.
Blush
The best blush will depend on your individual skin tone. Some trial and error will be made before you find your perfect match. Depending on whether your skin tone is warmer or cooler, try salmon and berry colours or pink and plum colours.Try and avoid blue-based colours as much as possible as this will drain your look. Dark and dusty colours will also clash against your skin.
Colours: soft salmon, pale berry red, pale raspberry, pink, bright mulberry, bright plum, soft red, salmon.
Lipstick
The best lipstick colours are actually similar to your season....BRIGHT! Meaning that your lipstick matches are all types of corals, scarlet, hot pink and salmon. They are not shy colours! At first glance your lip colours may seem to be bold, but don't freak out because they will really suit you and compliment your features. And after a while, people won't notice the same, take my advice.
But make sure to avoid dark, cool colours such as burgundy and plum. These would clash with your warmer complexion. Also make sure to steer clear of finishes that are too matte and dry looking. Your appearance needs to glow.
