Xavi was making her way to her parents house. It was quiet, no radio or nothing. She was picturing what all would, or could happen.
With Xavi bringing her grandma, she knew it wouldn't end well due to Shantel not liking her own mother for what reason, Xavi didn't know.
The silence was broken when Xavi heard her phone ringing. She picked it up, seeing Miles name go across the screen.
She slid over the answer button before holding the phone up to her ear. She just knew he was gonna be talking about grandma and once he started talking, she found herself correct.
"We're you for real grandma was coming?" Miles asked and Xavi did a low chuckle
"Yes Miles. I'm not joking." Xavi said.
On the other end, Miles scratched his head. He was nervous because he knew how his mom could get but then again, he was never a big fan of his parents but respect was still there.
"Alright. I'm on what ever you on. Just keep grandma far away from mom." Miles said and Xavi shook her head as if he could see her.
"You know I can't control grandma but I'll try." Xavi said before ending the call as she pulled up outside her parents house. Her stomach turned into knots just thinking about all the events that went on in inside there.
She got out and walked up the few steps before walking in. She caught the chills as if an cold breeze brushed up against her. As she closed the door, she turned around and seen Miles standing over her. Miles stood at least 5'10.
"You scared me Miles." Xavi said with her hand over her chest. Miles laughed, pulling her in a corner.
"Where's grandma? She almost here?" Miles asked, quite excited to see her. Just as Miles said that, Xavi's phone dinged with a text from her grandma.
Grandma: outside. Come get me chile Me: Okay!
"She's outside." Xavi said with a smirk and Miles raised a brow at how Xavi's all smiles all of a sudden. But, Miles somewhat knew why. He knew Xavi was getting ready to fuck up some shit.
Xavi left her brother, going to open the door. Once she did, she pulled Sharon in for a hug. Sharon kissed her forehead and Xavi grabbed her hand, leading her to Miles.
"Miles baby, I've missed you so much." She said, hugging him as Miles laughed lowly.
"Hey grandma." Miles said and Sharon took in his appearance. He was dressed in navy blue suit, a fresh haircut, Diamond earrings.
