Chapter 16

After last chapter I wanted to do some fluff because even though last chapter wasn't anything too traumatic I just wanted to do some fluff...also I just wanted to include this ship

Kaminari pov

I watch as Midobro stands and walks out of the dining room. He looked a little sad, I wonder what's wrong?

I feel my phone start vibrating in my pocket and I pull it out slightly to see the caller ID. I'm practically jumping in joy and accidentally shocked myself a little.

I quickly stand up and tell Iida that I'll see him in our room before quickly taking the stairs by two and almost killing myself on my way to the third floor.

I answer my phone just as it was about to go off and plop onto my bed.

"Hey babe, how's Italy?"

I look at my purple haired insomniac and smile as a black cat jumps onto his shoulder. He chuckles and starts to let it.

"Italy's great. I wish you were here though."

"I wish I was too."

"Having the house to yourself must be nice though. You get to be surrounded by cats."

"I wish I could be surrounded by the cats and you."

I smile and chuckle a little as I lay down and watch Hitoshi pet Smoky.

"Hey, Hito?"

"Hmm?"

"When I get back can we go on a date?"

He looks at the phone a bit startled and I laugh at his expression. Normally he's the one asking me out instead of this kinda informal way of asking.

"Um—yeah, sure. Any place in mind?"

"Yep." I pop the 'p' and smile before saying, "You'll find out what it is when I get back."

"Ugh, but that's on Friday. I can't wait two days."

"Stop being such a baby." I laugh as he sticks out his lower lip in a childish pout.

I hear a knock on my door and look over at it.

"Someone's at my door."

"I'll call you back in an hour or so and if you're asleep I'll call you tomorrow morning to wake you up. Sound good?"

"Yeah. By baby, I love you."

"Bye my little Pikachu."

I blush at the name before hanging up and opening the door to see Kiri standing on the threshold with Bakubro.

"Sorry to interrupt your call to Shinzo, but we have something we need to ask you."

"What is it?"

"Umm...well, we were wondering if you could help us round everyone up so we could have another movie night tonight."

I look at the two of them a bit perplexed. Bakubro complained almost the whole time last night, I'm surprised he'd even let Kiri consider this.

"Uh, yeah sure. Any reason as to why?"

"Bakugo doesn't want the class knowing he had fun," Kiri said, nudging Bakubro, making him threaten to blast him to tiny pieces.

I almost fell over laughing and was given a similarly colorful threat.

Once I regained my breath I said, "Yeah, I'll help round everyone up."

After a few quick messages to Mina and Uraraka explaining the idea (and of course leaving out Bakubro, he'd kill me) and asking them to help me convince the group chat.

It only took a few minutes before almost everyone agreed to come watch some more horror movies.

The only person absent by the time we started the movie was Midobro. I'm guessing he wasn't feeling well since he had left dinner earlier. I hope he's okay.

I went back to my room around 4 and FaceTimed Hito, knowing that he'll be awake.

He answers on the second ring and we stay on FaceTime until we both fall asleep.

Yeah, that was a really short chapter and actually didn't have any fluff in it but at least the class is getting closer!
