I slump down into the diner booth and cross my legs under the table. I was waiting on a date, I really didn't think they were going to ditch me once again. I was going to give up on dating. Until he showed up. He was tall, blonde hair that curled on the ends, green eyes, and he was wearing a collared blue shirt and jeans.

"Hey, sorry I'm late." He pulls a curl behind his ear and holds out his other hand to shake mine.

"No, no. You're right on time. Please sit!" I shake his hand firmly and he sits across from me.

The waitress comes over and asks what we want to drink.

"Water please." We both say in unison.

She walks away and I feel my cheeks getting red.

"I'm Louis. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Angie."

"So, Angie, where are you from?"

"I'm actually from here. Lived here my whole life. What about you?"

"I'm from Idaho. But moved here recently for school. Do you go to school?"

"Yeah, this is my second year at Colorado State."

"I was thinking about taking courses there. What is your major?"

"I'm taking a lot of criminal justice courses but I want to be a lawyer. Hoping to get into law school here soon."

"That's awesome. I'm thinking business but I'm not completely sure yet."

He starts babbling on and on about school and I zone out, hearing the bell chime. I see two younger boys walk in the diner and sit at the bar beside me. One of them is shorter and handsome while the other is really tall and adorable.

The tall one looks back at me and gives me a smile and turns back around when the waitress comes back.

"Do we know what we want kiddos?"

"I'll take a cheeseburger with fries and some ketchup."

"And for you?"

"I'll have a stack of chocolate chip pancakes and some breakfast potatoes."

She nods and walks away again.

Louis looks at me and I feel his hand go up my skirt, grabbing my inner thigh.

"Stop. What are you doing?"

"Let's be honest. I don't care about where you're from and what school you go to. I wanna know how you feel."

"I said to stop!" I try pushing his hand away but he has a grip on me that I couldn't get off.

"Hey, she said to stop." One of the men get up from the bar and push him into the corner of the booth and away from me.

I get up and grab my jacket and begin to walk away but I feel a hand grab my arm and I turn around quickly. It was the taller one. The man that was with him had a hold of Louis in the booth and pushed him against the wall. Louis gets up and runs out the side door of the diner.

"Hey. Are you okay?" He lightly lets go, noticing I'm distraught.

"I'm fine. Just leave me alone."

I try to walk away but he keeps following me. I feel the tears flow down my face, I didn't want to be seen.

"Wait, please."

I finally stop by a black impala, which I assume later on is his car since he leans against it trying to talk to me.

"I'm sorry about back there. That guy doesn't deserve you, and it's not your fault."
