How they met

(Narrator/author's pov) It all started on the first day of school on a beautiful fall day in September. This day was the very first day at St. Bernard high (a Catholic prep school) for Finn and Desiree (they are twins). The two of them were walking to school.

"Oh I just can't wait it's our very first day of high school," exclaimed Desiree.

"I can, I'm really nervous I'm surprised my fight or flight reflexes didn't kick in when we moved here," replied Finn.

"Oh come on Finn live a little relax everything is gonna be great," said Desiree.

"Easy for you to say you're not the one with the heightened anxiety," said Finn as they both came to a stop, because they were in front of the school.

Ok you can do this just a bunch of p.....p...eople. Oh God I can't do this. He thought to himself, as he was about to turn around Desiree draped one of her arms over her brother's shoulder to calm him down a bit, as they basically had connected thoughts except Desiree's thoughts were more mellow, calm, and cheery. Oh God oh God why won't she let me go I need to go home I'm too scared what if they make fun of me?

What if..........his thoughts were cut off with Desiree saying, "Finn you have to stop thinking like that it will be just fine, okay?"

"O-okay I guess" Finn said after a little wave of panic came over him. All he wanted to do was cuddle with his sister (get your mind out of the gutter they're twins and they're both gay) and stay at home all week, but obviously that wasn't going to happen.

"Hey I know we have separate classes so if you need anything call me, or dad, okay?" Desiree commented at his uneasy look.

Finn just quickly nodded and looked at the ground to avoid making eye contact with anyone. Desiree offered her hand for him to take, which he took, and together they walked into the school and headed to homeroom which they had together. The teacher had them introduce themselves (this was a week after school really started so everyone know each others names). Desiree spoke for the both of them saying "my name is Desiree and this is my younger twin brother Finn we are both 14 and will turn 15 in December"

"You two may go sit down now, please be nice to the both of them they missed the first week due to having to settle into their new house having said that I will take attendance and dismiss you to your first class of the day," said Mrs. Bart (the teacher). Mrs. Bart had gone through most of the list except for two last names, Sam and Max.

The twins looked over to them to see the faces that matched the names as they did with everybody. Finn thought, wow Max is cute. Meanwhile Desiree thought, wow Sam is cute. Their thoughts were soon cut off by the teacher dismissing them all.

Sam and Max caught up to the twins, Sam spoke up and said, "Hey I'm Sam and this is best friend Max we were wondering if you guys knew your way around the school?"

"Well, no this is our very first time coming to this school and we didn't get a tour," replied Desiree.

"Oh we can help you get to your classes what class do you have first?" Asked Max.

"I have simple science," says Desiree.

"I have simple science too," exclaimed Max.

Sam looked over to Finn and asked, "What class do you have Finn?"

"Umm I-I h-have p-pottery," Finn replied.

"Cool me too I can help you get there if you would like." Said Sam.

"Umm o-okay t-thanks," said Finn.

"Okay we should probably get going before the bell rings," Max implied.
