"Hun!"

Kaagad namang sinalubong ni Ayana si Lennox ng mga yakap nang dumating na ito sa unit nila. Lennox just chuckled at what she did and kissed her forehead. They've been living together for months now and it was good. Nauna kasi siyang nauwi rito kanina dahil nag-overtime pa ito - and it was always their thing to have dinner together.

"Okay, before I become too excited, should we have the dinner first? Or..."

Lennox smiled warmly at her while taking off his coat, "We should talk first."

"Oh, okay!" Ayana beamed at she sat on the couch first. Tumabi naman kaagad sa kanya si Lennox.

"Hun, I know I already told you earlier sa text that Vogue finally messaged me and I'm really so happy and excited! Parang hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala sa mga oras na ito. To think, matagal ko ng nasend 'yung application, last year pa so I didn't really expect it anymore na matatanggap pa ako... But here they are, they accepted my application!" She enthusiastically told him. Lennox laughed lightly at her reaction.

For him, it's been months since he saw her so really happy for her achievements. Palagi kasi itong naste-stress sa work nito as junior editor sa isang Newspaper company. His girlfriend always relentlessly trying to work hard para lang ma-promote ito. He knew she wasn't happy with the work she is currently doing, he always notices it.

But even though it was like that, Ayana might never realize it, he's always been proud of her achievements. Kahit para rito, maliit lang ang mga bagay na iyon.

Lennox then gave her a proud smile and held her right hand, kissing the top of it, "You know that I'm always proud of you, right? And you deserve all of this because you worked hard for it... And I'm going to support you no matter what."

Ayana smiled back at him too, appreciatively, "Thank you... For always being supportive and for always understanding me..."

He took a deep breath, "What does this mean? You're going to live in New York?"

Ayana nodded, biting her lip while looking at the front, "Yes... I know it's just so sudden... But 1 year training pa lang naman daw, they're still going to evaluate my performance if karapat-dapat ba ako gawing parte ng Vogue family..."

"You're going to get it for sure, you're very hardworking," Lennox replied, sighing again, "I know, you don't like long distance relationship, I remember you clearly said that before..." He added.

"I know... But we're different. We can make it work..." Ayana answered like it was easy. Lennox chuckled again.

"And diba... may sasabihin ka rin?" Then she asked.

"Yeah," Lennox was silent for a few seconds, "I also got promoted."

"Oh!" Ayana covered her mouth because of shock but she was also excited and happy for him as well, "That's great! Proud din ako sayo! I'm so happy for us!"

"Yes, but the work will be in New Zealand."

Natahimik naman kaagad si Ayana dahil sa sinabi nito.

"But I will come with you in New York," Lennox suddenly said after a minute of silence.

"Oh god, my god! What?" She reacted, obviously surprised at what he said.

He shrugged, "Yes, I mean, I also don't want to live alone in any country without you...  I also don't want to stop you from this opportunity or holding you back and feel guilty about us from living miles away."

"How about your work? Your promotion?"

"I think I can a find new job too in New York. Maybe it won't be that hard, I'm a licensed chemical engineer, maybe that will do."

Ayana started to bite her lip because of excitement, "Pero sayang naman 'yung New Zealand mo, baka mas malaki ang sahod mo 'dun."

"Nah, it's just the same here, just different country."

Ayana hugged him again and showered him with kissed. Natawa na lang si Lennox sa ginawa nito, "Thank you so much! I really love you! God! I'm so lucky..."
