Ouni Pov

'Y/n has been gone for awhile now...' I sat there looking out at the window.

I trusted her enough to know she came back, but what if I was being naive in doing so?

'I have only known her for a few days, maybe Nibi was right.' I kept staring out, hoping to see y/n l of course didn't though.

"I'm certain she'll come back," Kicha patted my shoulder.

"How?" I didn't deny that I was at least slightly worried, but it was surely growing into annoyance.

"Well..." Kicha sat and thought, "I just know it!"

"That isn't an answer."

"It is though!" Kicha argued, "It's like a feeling."

"Use reasoning then," I barked. Why am I pressing her for answers so much? This is bizarre.

Kicha thought for a minute, "Hmm~ I guess other than I just trusting her I think it may be that she proven herself, as well as her character as we know it."

"But-"

"Yes I know it could be a trap," she interrupted, then turned away to the moon smiling, "But isn't it better to try to trust people first before leaving yourself in solitude? I'm not saying to trust them fully, nor am I saying you won't get hurt. I am saying though is to try to have faith in humanity."

"Kicha-" I tried to say something but nothing came out, instead she continued.

"I know I'm amazing!" She turned to me and smiled, "I'm sure y/n'll come back in the morning."

Next morning she didn't come, I was... Shocked? But it was soon solved, ending in a deal involving her freedom.

The deal -

Y/n may go out but must be with someone we know, when busy Suou will babysit. Of course she'll be tied up during attack for safety measures.

At - Underlined now fancy.

Suou's name is high-key hard to spell. Does help either that one of the top sites when searching children of the whales spells it wrong.
