Chapter 4: best day ever

Haley's POV

"Where do you want to go?" Luke asked.

"Well, before we go anywhere I'm going to have to change and get ready."

"Oh yeah, do you want us to take you to your house?"

"If yall don't mind, that would be great!"

It was Sunday and it was a beautiful day. It was the middle of May so it was getting hot in Texas. Which meant school was almost out! Speaking of school I have to go tomorrow, ugh. Anyways, the boys were taking me to my house.
"Where do you live exactly?" Calum asked.
"Well I live in the country part of Texas. It's about 30 minutes away from the city." I explained.

"Where are we at!?" Ashton asked.
"Almost at my house. I told you I lived in the country."

It's true I lived in a house that was very secluded. Only back roads led to my house.

"We are here!" I said as we pulled into my drive way. I texted my mom and told her they were coming over. My sister was beyond excited when she heard the news. She also told Zoey to come over as well. I hadn't seen Zoey in a while. So I was excited to see her!
I knock on the door. The boys are standing behind me. Luke looks kind of nervous. I wonder if it's because he is going to meet my family?
My mom opens the door and gives me a hug.
"Come in!" My mom says to all the boys.
"Kelsie, I'm home!"
Her and Zoey come out. I run and give Zoey a huge hug. Zoey looks gorgeous! Her light brown hair is straightened and she is wearing shorts and a blank tank top.

"Get it girl!" She whispered to me which made me laugh.
"Zoey, Kelsie, this is Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael."
The boys come up to them and give them hugs. They are so sweet!
"Can I get you guys anything while Haley gets ready? I'll fix some snacks."
The boys are sitting on the couch talking to Kelsie and Zoey. I know Zoey would tell Luke embarrassing stuff about me, but oh well..
I went to my room and put on high waisted skinny jeans with a blue lace crop top and a black bandeau underneath with my black vans. I curled my hair and applied mascara, eyeliner, foundation and light red lipstick.

I walked out to the boys eating popcorn and Zoey showing them embarrassing videos of me.

"Hey! That was in 6th grade! I was still in my ugly stage then!" I said as Zoey showed them a terrible picture of me.
"I don't think you ever had an ugly stage." Luke said winning at me, which made me blush.
"Awe look! She is blushing!!" Ashton said nudging Zoey.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"Wherever." Luke said.
"Mhmm... Oh I know where we should go!" I said smirking.

Luke's POV

We sat there on the couch talking to Zoey and Kelsie waiting for Haley to get ready. Zoey was showing us pictures and videos of Haley when she was younger. She was a lot more outgoing than what she looked like.
"Hey! That was in 6th grade! I was still in my ugly stage!"
I looked up and I saw her standing there. She looked amazing. Her long dark hair was curled. And she looked great in her outfit she was wearing.
"I don't ever think you had an ugly stage."
She started blushing.

"So where are we going?" She asked.
"Wherever." I said

"Mhmm.. Oh I know just the place!" She said smirking.

Oh no..

She told us where to go. And before we knew it we were at a mall.

"This is just the mall." Calum said.
"You'll see.." Zoey said laughing.
Zoey and Kelsie came with us too.

"What is that?" I questioned as She got a bag out of the car.
"Ice skates."
"Why would you need-
Oh no, are we going skating?" I said worried.
"YES!" She said excitedly. It was so cute to see her so excited.
"Awesome!!!!" The boys said.
Me on the other hand, I was nervous. I'm not the best at balance and that sort of thing. I was going to embarrass myself in front of Haley. Great.

We got inside and a few pj ole noticed us, so we took some pictures with them while Haley got our skates for us.
Haley and Kelsie helped us lace up our skates.
"So how long have you been skating?" I asked as she tied my skates.
"10 years." She says

"Wow. You must be good, huh?" I said laughing.
"You can say that."

When we all got our skates on Haley had mine and Calum's hands. Zoey helped Ashton even though Zoey didn't skate and Kelsie helped Michael.
She let go of my hand and went out onto the ice. Calum and I got on the ice and held on to the wall. Haley glided smoothly across the ice. She was a great skater. She skated up to us.
"You're very good!" Calum said.
"Thank you!" She said.
"You two go ahead, I'll go skate with Michael and Kelsie." Calum said smirking at me.
I started to lose my balance and Haley put her hand around my waist.
"Here let me help you." She smiled at me.
"Thanks babe." I said kissing her cheek.
She blushes and Ashton gave me a thumbs up as Zoey and him tried to skate.
We skated around then I soon got the hang of it.
"Go show me how you can skate!" I said.
She went out to the middle and she did a fast spin. She started doing all sorts of jumps and spins.
She started to do one then she fell right on her butt.
I skated out to her.
"Here let me help you up." I stuck out my hang then suddenly lost my balance. I fell right on top of her. Our faces were inches apart.
"Sorry." She apologized looking into my eyes.
I was about to say something when I saw a camera flash. Ashton was taking our picture.

The boys, Zoey and Kelsie went to walk around the mall while Haley and I stayed skating.
I grabbed her hand and she looked down and blushed.

"Your so cute when you blush." I said with out thinking.
"Really? I hate it. I'm a shy person so I blush easily and I hate how my face gets read at everything and-" She said looking down embarrassed.
I put my finger under her chin and lifted her head up.
"I think it's beautiful." I said hugging her.
She hugged me back tighter and whispered,"Thank you." Then she kissed me on the cheek.
