Chapter 20: confused

Haley's POV

It's been a month since Luke has given me the ring. I have never taken it off. Since then I have started up half the night trying to figure out what I am going to do. The tour has one more month. We haven't talked about that since the night he gave me the ring. And I am so confused. Should I stay in Texas or should I go back to London with him.

It was 3 am and I couldn't fall asleep. I couldn't stop thinking. What if he didn't want me to go to London with him? What if he expects me to go with him? I don't know what he wants or what I want. Maybe we should take some time off? But that would break my heart. Maybe I'm holding him back? A thousand doubts flooded my head. I need to call my mom. I got out of my bunk and went to the couch in the front of the bus. The driver was still driving, but i didn't care if he heard my conversation.

"Mom?"

"Yeah? Are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, but I need advice. Luke and I haven't talked about what is going to happen since he gave me that ring."

"Well, Haley, since he gave you the ring it's obvious he wants to stay together no matter what."

"But I can't handle being away from him while we are together. Not being able to see him in person would be terrible."

"Talk to him. Figure out what he wants and what you want. I am still giving you permission to go to London with him."

"Not that I'm not grateful mom, but why?"

"I never had the chance at love when I was your age. I want you to be able to experience things. You never know he could be the one."

"Thanks mom. You're always there for me."

"No problem. I love you."

"I love you too mom."

I hung up. But I heard someone behind me.

"You scared me!" I said to Calum.

"Oops.." He said laughing.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"I heard someone talking."

"Oh.." I said training off.

"You can just talk to Luke, Haley." He said sitting next to me.

"I know, but I feel like he would feel bad and leave his career for me. I don't want him to do that, but my mom said I could go back to London with yall.."

"Really!? Luke would be so happy!" Calum said getting excited.

"I know, so would I but, my friends and family are all in Texas. Maybe we could just have a long distance relationship."

"I mean I guess you could, but we would all miss you. Especially Luke." Calum said hugging me.

"I know.. I'll talk to him tomorrow. Thanks for everything, calum."

"No problem." He said kissing my cheek.

Maybe I can finally get some sleep.

Next morning.

Luke's POV

I wake up and I hear Haley and Ashton fighting.

"Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm not strong!" Haley said laughing.

"What's going one here?" I said sitting next to Haley.

"Ashton is being rude to me." Haley said fake crying into my shoulder.
