Midoriya wasn't actually sure why they didn't have classes that Thursday and Friday but he wasn't complaining.

Izuku sleepily made his way down stairs and into the kitchen to eat something for breakfast that Thursday morning and when he got there he was, what he would nicely call, ambushed. The moment he walked through the threshold, Mina had materialized out of nowhere right in front of him and practically tackled him in a hug.

"Wha- good morning to you too Ashido," Midoriya chuckled lightly, now unexpectedly carrying almost all her weight.

"I can't wait until Saturdayyyyy," Mina whined, cutting to the chase very quickly. "Tell me now!" She demanded, taking a step back and pointing at him forcefully.

Midoriya laughed again, this time more heartily, and pushed Mina's accusatory finger back down to swinging at her side. "Not happening," he said sternly, walking past her to the kitchen counter but he stopped in his tracks when he saw what was there. Or, more rather, WHO was there since standing right ahead, leaning on the counter and watching the scene in front of him in amusement was Denki Kaminari. With a toaster plugged into his mouth.

Before he could think about it, Izuku was already on the other side if the room and had ripped the cord out of his mouth.

"Wha- hey!" Kaminari yelped in surprise, glaring at the cord in the other's hand. "What was that for?" He asked incredulously.

Midoriya flushed in embarrassment once he realized what he'd done and frantically looked around for an excuse. "I- uh-" he narrows in on an electrical socket on the wall and, with more force then necessary, jammed the plug into the outlet. "Erm- we have wall sockets!" He spit out desperately, still shocked at himself.

"I know that!" Kaminari defended. "I work too you know,"

"Yeah, but you shouldn't..." Izuku muttered bitterly and glared at the toaster.

"Huh?"

Midoriya cursed internally and blushed harder, even more embarrased now. 'I should've just forked over the journal by now, then none of this would be happening' he thought irritably before turning back to Kaminari with a forced and awkward smile.

"I just don't think you need to work yourself unnecessarily, Kaminari," he said earnestly. "It can't be healthy using a quirk like yours all the time so you should at least let the electrical outlet do it's job,"

Kaminari blushed slightly, looked away, nodding rabidly and laughing stiffly as he backed away before plopping himself down next to Ashido at the small table in the kitchen. His demeanor quickly changed the moment he sat down from awkward and embarrassed to dreading life as he held his head in his hands and Mina sat there next to him rubbing comforting circles in his back.

Izuku watched this all with partial amusement as well as sympathy since he was feeling very similarly. His attention was drawn away though as the toaster popped up and he quickly pulled out a plate, spread peanut butter on each slice, and brought it over to the table.

"Bone apple tea~" Midoriya sang, dramatically bowing as he set the plate down which git Kaminari to look up again.

"Hey... you didn't have to do that," Denki said, looking at the plate quizzingly and disappointed. "I could've done it myself,"

"I know that," Midoriya said simply. "But I make some mean toast, so you're welcome," he joked halfheartedly.

Kaminari scoffed out a laugh. "Why thank you," he thanked dramatically, bringing the plate closter to himself. "How'd you know I wanted peanut butter?" He asked in surprise.

"Oh, well, it was on the counter so I sorta just... assumed..." Midoriya said, waving his hand around in a way that invited the other to understand what he meant without saying anything.

"Ah, right, of course," he stumbled, blushing from embarrassment once again, awkwardly picking up a piece of toast and... shoving the entire thing into his mouth.
