It was around one thirty, after Kaminari had already left for his grandparents', before anything eventful happened and Midoriya was just sitting alone in the couch in the common room on his phone. He opted to say out of his room because being left alone with the journal just made him want to read even more.

"Midoriya!" Ashido squealed, coming up behind him on the couch and wrapping her arms around his shoulders in a odd attempt at a hug.

"Hello again Ashido," Izuku chuckled, patting her arms in an even odder attempt to return the gesture.

"Guess what!" She said excitedly, catapulting herself over the back of the couch and plopping right down next to him, grinning mischievously.

"What...?" Midoriya questioned cautiously.

"Ok, so, I was talking to the girls-"

"Oh, that's no good-"

"And," Ashido continuing, pretending not to have been interrupted. "They agreed to having our gossip sleepover tonight instead of Saturday," she said, bouncing up and down giddily, holding Midoriya by the arm and, by extension, shaking his entire body with her.

"Oh goodness, I knew it was going to be bad..." Midoriya grimaced, but it only lasted a second before he almost immediately breaking into a playful smile, unable to keep a serious expression when Ashido was around and litterally shaking him aggressively.

"Go start writing your speech!" She squealed, pushing him up off the couch and slapping him on the back to encourage him to leave to his room, which he gladly did because that meant not interacting with anyone else until tonight, even if he had to deal with the heavy presence of Kaminari's journal.

Before he could to his room though, Izuku ran into Uraraka. She was standing waiting for the elevator and he walked up to her and naturally started conversation.

"Good afternoon Uraraka!" He greeted and gently and playfully bumping shoulders with her.

"Oh, hey Deku," Uraraka responded, smiling brightly at him but it quickly faltered and she looked away from him soon after. Izuku easily identified that she was uncomfortable and wanted to say something so he decided to guide the conversation.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked.

"Not WRONG just..." Ochako hesitated, still not looking at him. "Mina mentioned why happened this morning," she said, probably trying to change the subject.

"Is that what it is? Whatever she said, it was probably exaggerated," Midoriya assured, but she still looked resigned.

"You made him breakfast?" Uraraka inquired.

"It was only toast,"

"And you didn't let him do it himself," She said, I little more sure of the statement then the previous one.

"I wouldn't put it that way..." Midoriya drawled awkwardly, glancing around as to have an excuse not to look at her. He heard Uraraka say something quietly and drew his attention back to her. "What was that?"

"You shouldn't have done that," she said, nervously wringing her hands.

"Huh? Why not?" Izuku questioned, caught off guard.

"You just," Ochako shifted nervously in her spot. "You probably don't want to give anyone the wrong idea..."

That's when it clicked. Uraraka was worried about Kaminari being lead on and hurt by Midoriya who she assumed didn't know about the other's feelings. It was a little heartwarming in a way, not wanting her friend to unintentionally hurt someone, supposedly without knowing a thing.

"You know what, nevermind, forget it!" Uraraka said quickly, waving her hands as to shoo away anything she brought up and quickly ran out the door making Izuku realize that neither of them ended up pressing the button for the elevator and they had been waiting for nothing.

Midoriya sighed and pressed the button, not wanting to follow after the girl as she had obviously wanted to get away. When back in his room his eyes were immediately drawn to the drawer that held Kaminari's diary and he sighed as he sat down on his bed and pulled it out, this time opting to finally start reading the entries in order.
