Alexandra Walker P.O.V.
I open my eyes in a flash and sit up on my bed breathing hard. The light coming from the window blinds me momentarily making me close them just as fast. Suddenly I'm hit with a sharp pain on my stomach making me fall back on the bed. I breath heavily trying to breath through it as I hear multiple footsteps entering my room.
I open my eyes once more, ready to fight whoever had to audacity to walk inside my home, but I'm greeted by white walls with a thick light blue stripe. On my right, there's a window overlooking the city, the sun shining through it. On the other side of the room I'm in, I see two woman looking at me from the threshold and slowly making their way to me as if they were approaching a wild animal.
Wait, what smell is this? My mind quickly puzzles everything together and I know I'm in a Hospital room. Wait, what am I doing here? Where is my Mom? Did I end up going to the fight Mike was talking about? Oh shit, I'm so screwed if that's what happened. I let my body fall back and curse myself for such decision because as soon as my body hits the bed the pain in my abdomen sharpens making me hiss in pain and slightly curl on myself.
"Hello dear, how are you feeling?" I hear the nurse ask now besides me.
"I'm obviously not peachy, but it could be worse. How did I end up here?"
"You don't remember?" Once she see's me shaking my head she turns to her colleague and than back to face me. "I just sent her to get the doctor. He will be able to answer your questions better than me. I will just give you some medicine through your IV to help you with the pain."
"Does my mom know I'm here ?" I ask her while she is busy with my IV.
Before she is able to answer me there is a knock at the door and before any of us can say anything it opens and a doctor walks in smiling along with the nurse that left to get him caring a tray with food.
"Hello, Alexandra. How are you feeling right now?" He looks down at my chart and then at me.
"I'm alright my head hurts a bit, I'm sore all over and my stomach is killing me. The nurse wouldn't tell me if you have informed my mom of me though, but have you? I'm dead after she finds out anyway might as well gain some pity because I'm in the hospital you know?" I ask with a short laugh.
"Alexandra do you remember why you got here?"
"No, my last memory is of me getting in the car with my mom before her shift at the... Oh crap what hospital is this? She knows doesn't she?"
"Well Alexandra you and your mom were in a car accident...." As soon as I heard him say accident I stopped listening to him.
"Where is she?" I look straight into his eyes, my eyes glistening at the thought of losing my mom.
"Your mom is in the recovery unit. She had surgery when you both were rushed in..." I don't let him finish his sentence.
"Take me to her. I need to see her. Now!"
"Sweetheart first you need to eat something. You have a concussion and bruises all over your abdomen which is why you might feel some discomfort there. If you don't eat you won't recover and your mom needs you to recover too." The nurse tries to calm me down.
"I can't eat right now I just need to see my mom."
Both the nurse and the doctor shake their heads slowly at me and I just huff giving up. I mainly do so because I'm in no state to actually stand up and run out of here. I look at the tray in front of me, I take a yogurt and dump some granola in it slowly mixing it in. The doctor leaves me with the nurse and goes back to his work while I eat.
