William Walker P.O.V.
After discovering Alexandra appeared on the paper with my mom as her mom, it all clicked into place. My dad just froze and left the office for the rest of the day to figure things out but I get it. We all wanted to have a baby girl in the family and not only did my mom leave with his daughter but she also had to die for us to find her.
I have had my sister by my side and I didn't even connect the dots, but than again we never thought it was a possibility. Now no one knows where she is and the damn Social worker isn't accepting our calls.
It's already Friday and I'm going up to Toronto if she doesn't pick the fucking phone up. It's like now that I finally found out I have a sister she fucking disappeared too. But I'll be damned if I let her slip through our fingers.
Since we found out about Alexandra's life and my mom's death I haven't been able to sleep and I know my dad has been having the same problem if his under eye bags are anything to go by.
I've been having nightmares of how the accident could've been or of how everyone blamed me for it because I didn't stop my mom from leaving that day. I thought the nightmare times were over but It seams the big bad under boss is still having nightmares like a little boy.
This morning I woke up again from the same damn nightmare. I just gave up sleep altogether and went downstairs to the basement gym we have. All my frustration was let out on the boxing sack but it still didn't do much to calm me down. Right now the only thing that would calm me down would be having my little sister hugging me, but I'm doubting she will run into our open arms.
I look up to the clock on the wall to see it still is just 5 am. I'm done here, but I'm sure I can work a bit on the office upstairs to get my head to focus on something else. I leave the gym running up the stairs and into my room. After a shower and getting dressed I walk out of my room and to my dads office.
I can see the light coming from under the door so I knock before walking inside the office. I don't get an answer so I just get in and see the reason why. My dad is sleeping on his desk like he used to do after my mom left. I go to him and help him stand knowing from the smell oozing from him that he had one to many glasses of whiskey.
"Come on old man, stand up and help me, help you."
"Oh Liam I miss her so much. Why did she leave me? Why did she leave all of us? " My dad cries out still half asleep.
"Come on dad, let me take you to bed."
"Take me to the room please. I need to be near her things." My heart breaks for my dad but I respect his wishes and take him to the room he used to share with mom.
He hasn't slept here since she left, unless he got drunk like now and would ask me or one of my brothers to bring him there. He might be able to be the strong, unbreakable Mafia boss I ever met but with us he was always our dad and he always made sure to tell us how we were loved. Once he starts drinking at home and alone it ends up like this.
I help him lay down and I hear him murmur the endearment he called my mom. He always called her angel and he would treat her like his whole world, their love was palpable once they got inside a room. I just wish....
I sigh silently and get out of the room closing the door behind me. I need to go get Oliver, he needs to help dad through this hangover or he will be there the rest of the day.
