Inside is where your thoughts kill you
and won't let you sleep.
They scream in your mind too,
so dark and beautiful and deep.
Inside is where your feelings are
and try to break free.
But you hide them like your scar
and that's why no one will ever see.
Inside is where you scream all day
and try to get your life under control.
You scream all the words you can't say,
and let them kill your soul.
