I wish I had a friend

I wish I had a friend.
A person that would be around.
Someone who wouldn't pretend
that there are no secrets that wanna be found.

I wish someone to talk to,
someone I could trust.
Someone who is happy that we are two
and someone who smiles in the dust.

I wish someone to talk to in the night.
Someone who can help and is calm.
Someone who can smile bright
and someone who would help fighting the storm.

I wish someone would like my real me
and would stay with me 'till the end.
Someone who really believes in a we.
Oh, I wish I had a friend.
