WARNING: BULLYING

In Theatre Arts, it's the same old thing. Too many foul skits to see. I go on YouTube to entertain myself throughout the class.

While jogging in gym, I see Goldilocks talking to the other cheerleaders. All I can feel is pain for her. I can't stop looking at her. I wanna say something. Let her know that I'm on her side.

Everybody's sitting on the bleachers after jogging for fifteen minutes. Coach Walter has an announcement to make. Everybody else's too busy talking.

"THREE, TWO, ONNNE! Don't make me get to zero!" He yells at us. In Inglewood, we clap once, twice, then three times to get everybody quiet.

"Now. I have a conference meeting about a student due to the brawl on a Saturday. So, I will put one of you in charge of the gym until dismissal," he loudly announces.

Only the drillers, color guards and cheerleaders raise their hands to be in charge.

"Patterson! You're in charge!" He announces just like that. Everybody else gets mad. I don't know what to feel about this anymore, after overhearing her childhood. I should be mad too.

"But she's mean!" Stuart loudly complains. Everybody else strongly agrees by saying their opinions loud for coach to hear. I just nod at coach.

"Stuart with a U, not everyone is nice. I ain't nice," Coach Walter gladly tells him. Everybody else gets quiet after hearing him say that, scared to agree out loud this time. I stop nodding, scared too. Goldilocks smiles about it. She's not even offended.

"Patterson. Come stand beside me," he orders her. She proudly stands up and walks down the bleachers. Everybody starts murmuring to each other about why she shouldn't be in charge.

"Listen up! You'll do whatever Patterson says. She can write you up and report to me. Whoever she reports to me will have gym detention for the rest of next week. That means not being allowed to play sports with your classmates. Just suicides, jogs, jumping jacks, push-ups and sit-ups, all day, with no breaks. If you need to use the restroom or drink water FOR REAL, the person in charge walks with you to make sure you come straight back to the gym. Do you hear clearly?!"

"Yes, sir," some of us mutter sarcastically with bad attitudes.

"I don't think they hear you clearly," Goldilocks says to coach, privately in front of us. She's really feeling herself. Her parents don't love her enough, so she's taking it out on us. Coach Walter seems to agree with her.

"DO!! YOU!! HEAR!!! CLEARLY?!!"

"YES, SIR!!!" We all shout at once.

"Good! The meeting starts at 2PM." He looks at the clock above the doors. It goes from 1359 to 1400 in front of our eyes. Coach Walter was also in the military.

"All right. It's time." He gives her his gym keys, timer and gym board. "Patterson, you have the floor. See you all on Monday." He walks out. He has butt cheeks sticking out due to his belt being on too tight. The girls smirk and giggle about it.

Once the doors close, we all look at Goldilocks. She smiles down at all of us with the board, timer and gym keys, and we're above her.

"All right, class. Today, we're going to play tag," she proudly announces. Everybody gets excited. "Okay, I'll need two volunteers to be my co-supervisors for the rest of the class."

Nobody raises their hand because we all know who she's thinking about whom.

"Evergreen and Channing. You'll be in charge with me." Both of these cheerleaders step down and stand beside her. There're three of them....
