Fever

"Kai, if you don't take the medicine.." Nya mumbled, her distraction growing higher. But what trailed her off was the brunette sticking his tongue out at her, giggling quietly while doing so.

Nya rolled her eyes as Kai sat up and laughed more. "No, I ain't taking no medicine!" He retaliates, shaking his head and folding his arms. "Firstly, it's gross. Secondly, it's gross. And thirdly..it doesn't even help!"

Nya sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose while she watched her brother complain about medicine like a little kid.

The boy was delusional, as for a second time he was been bit with the venomari venom, except this time he had to take some form of medication as during the walk home when he was loopy, he somehow developed a fever. Great.

Once he was done, Kai was looking away from Nya, pouring and crossing his arms. Nya sighed, and dropped her hands to the side.

Just as she did this, a familiar face walked into the Fire Master's room, hoping to see the mentioned Ninja asleep, and y'know, getting better. But sadly, he himself pinched his nose and sighed, bringing the attention of both the siblings.

Kai beams and immediately changes his attitude once he sees Zane, smiling happily and acting all innocent, like he actually had taken and swallowed the medicine that was once kn a spoon of Nya's, but now on the floor.

Zane sighed internally, and puts on a little smile too, walking over to what seems to be an existential crisis happen in front of his eyes.

"Greetings you two." He says, making Nya wave back to for Kai to say 'Hi!' very, very obnoxiously. However, it's kinda humours the robot. "I see that..you haven't taken your medication that Nya has in her hand."

Kai shakes his head. "No! I have done it! That's her own medicine!" Kai tries to back himself up, and ends up pulling his baby sister onto the bed and laying her down. Nya looks fed up. "She's sick, not me!"

Zane exhales deeply, looks and Kai and Nya and blinks a few times. He turns to Nya. "Nya, had Kai taken his medication for the Venomari Venom, and his fever of 103° F?" He asks, a hint for Kai to say something, and not Nya.

But Kai looked at the Water Ninja with a smirk on his face.

Nya shakes her head, leaving the sickly elemental astonished. Zane looks at her, a more calm expression on his face. "Would you like me to assist you into helping Kai take his medication?" He asks.

Nya giggles slightly and hands him the bottle. "I'm afraid you're on your own; he will not listen to me." She states; slowly walking off.

"Noooo!" Kai cried, basically whining for her to come back. Nya clenches her fists and turns around slowly, wondering what the hell he wants from her now. He didn't wanna even face her just!

Kai has a pleading and almost crying, basically making grabbing hands for her to come back. "I'm scared..can you stay with me?" He whimpers.

Nya giggles and nods, walking back over to her brother and sitting next to him, quickly gushing his when he gripped her arm tightly.

Zane kneels down so he's facing Kai; when the boy's delusional like this the only way you can get something through to him is by looking him in the eyes. "Kai, it is just medication. It is okay." He reassures, standing back up and getting the amount of medicine he needs to on the spoon, ready for when Kai agrees.

Kai looks back at his little sister, still looking worried and upset. Nya rubs his back gently and puts on a soft smile on her face. "It's gonna be alright Kai. You just have to swallow the medicine, have some water and then you can have a nap." She says, making the brunette smile and nod vigorously at Zane, wanting to get some sleep.

Zane laughs slightly too and gives him the medicine, hands Nya the water and walks out.

Kai hugs her tightly. "Thank you baby sis."

Nya smiles. "No problem, big bro."
