Kai is 10 and Nya is 8

Nya awoke to the sound of birds chirping and people talking outside. She sat up and grabbed the brush from her beside table. Before she could do anything, she heard a horrible sound.

Retching.

Immediately, she jumped down of bed and rushed to the bathroom. The door was closed- but not locked. Since this was her brother, she want going to just barge right in, instead knocking. "Kai, you alright in there?" The eight year old asked. "Can I come in?"

A quiet 'yes' was heard from the other side of the door and Nya walked in. Her brother was leaning over toilet seat, coughing up whatever was left in hi stomach. The girl gasped, and ran over to him. They both kneeled down as he continued to gag, and she rubbed his back softly.

"Kai, what did you eat?" Nya asked, genuine concern. He slumped in her arms, panting. "Ugh..I don't know..we need to get to school.." He responded. Nya sighed and helped him up, and took him to his room. She sat him down on a chair while she packed up his uniform back into his closest. "It's doesn't matter, I'll get Sakura and Yui from across the street to take care of you." She smiled. Kai smiled backs and walked to his bed slowly.

"I'll get you a bucket and a towel. Stay here." Nya rushed downstairs as quick as possible and grabbed two teatowels, a bucket and a pack of wipes. She walked back upstairs with the items and placed them beside the brunette. "I need to get changed and pack my bags. I'll bring you breakfast in 10 minutes, try and rest, okay?"

Kai have a small smile at his little sister. "Thanks, Nya."

(Okay off context but I stan that Nya's Uniform for school was this)

Hsgdhsjd okay back to the story

After 15 minutes, Kai could slightly here the door open. He pulled the bucket off his face and he smiled weakly at the girl. She had a soft, sad smile on her face. She held a bowl of something in her hand, and her bag was slouched over her back. "Sakura's coming around in a few minutes, and Yui is coming later - she had work, five until nine." She walked up from the doorway and helped him sit up. "Here's some soup. I'll wait here until Sakura comes."

"But what about school? Won't you be late?" The little girl giggled and shook her head. "I don't care. You're my brother, you've done a lot for me, so I'm gonna do something back for you." She said.

A knock from the door was heard. "Ooh, that's gonna be Sakura. I'll explain a few things to her, and I'll leave. Hope you feel better, bye!" She say up and placed the rest of her books in the back and walked out the door.

Nya shut the door, panting. "It's too hot out there to walk 2 miles home in a jumper." She said. "I'm home!"

Yui walked down the stairs with a smile on her face, and a bundle in her arms. "Hey Yui. Hey Mikey." The girl put her small finger on the babies' nose. The little boy giggled, and she smiled. "How's Kai?" Nya asked. "He's a little better. He hasn't vomited since before you left. He's asleep now, and we just wanted to greet you." The young adult said.

"How was school?" Nya rolled her eyes. "Same thing, being ignored. Where's Sakura?"

"Had to go home, my mother needed to speak to her."

She nodded. "Ah, okay. Thanks for taking care of him. I'm going to start dinner soon, go home an relax. See you!" The gurl waved at Yui smiles and left.

"How are you feeling, Kai?" Nya sat down on the edge of his bed. He was wrapped in a million blankets and he groaned into his pillow. "My head hurts like hell.." He whimpered. Nya's face softens and she rubs his arms softly. Suddenly, and idea comes to mind. She rushed out of the room and Went into her room. She rummaged through a box underneath her bed until she found what she was after.

"Remember this guy?" Kai gasped at what she had in her hands. He smiled weakly, and clutched it. "Yes! He used to make me feel better."

"And he still will."
