"We gonna need...do you know what I'll just come with you"

"Little Ass Kicker"

I placed my machete back into it's place then paced the floor slightly, cuddling the baby while I spoke to her.

Then, I jumped at the sound of thunder which made the baby in my arms wail then without a warning, it just started pouring down with rain.

"Oh Shit" I cussed covering the baby's face then quickly ran back inside with her close to my chest until I got to cover and I chuckled slightly, "That's a lot to take in on your first day aye little one" I whispered looking down at the child before I shook my hair from all the raindrops.

"Rain?" Glenn questioned concerned about to make a run out of the block but then came to a stop at the gate that lead into it then sighed in relief when he saw me standing in the doorway.

"I'm okay" I assured him and he nodded before looking down at the baby, "She's okay" I added before I gently bounced her, "The thunder scared her" I stated walking into the cell block.

Once I had got the baby settled, I took a seat on the stairs so I could hold her comfortably, "I think we need to move the tables from the cafeteria into here so we have a place to sit and eat" I suggested and Glenn nodded from where he stood beside me, leaning on the hand rail.

"We will get that sorted tomorrow" Glenn told me and I nodded then started rocking as the baby had started to stir again and Glenn smiled at me, "You're good with her" He commented and I scoffed, shaking my head slowly.

"I just remember when the twins were this age and even though I was young myself, I remember when Mason was this age too" I replied and he nodded his head slowly, "This time I'm much older and know what I'm doing" I stated then looked at my brothers who were sitting on the floor not too far away from us.

Just talking to one another, "With the boys, I had no idea how I was going to feed them the next day and now that feeling has come back around with this little one" I inputted looking down when the baby grabbed my finger.

"Rain..." Glenn said grabbing my shoulder before he moved to sit down beside me, "This time you are not alone. We are all in this together and you did an amazing job with your brothers" He assured me and I looked up at him, giving him a small smile before I laid my head on his shoulder.

"I know for damn sure that this little girl will look up to you just as much as your brothers do" He added wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me close.

"Thank you, Baby" I whispered smiling slightly.

"Rain" A little voice called quietly and I turned to Carl standing off to the side of me, staring down at his baby sister so I sat up, "Can I hold her?" He asked and I smiled before nodding.

"Of course, mate" I replied and he chuckled.
Still obsessed with my Aussie accent, I see.

"Alright, sit down" I told him moving over a little and Glenn did the same so Carl could sit down on the other side of me, "Here" I added placing the baby into Carl's open arms, "Support her head" I told him lifting the elbow that the baby's head were resting in.

"I've got her" He assured me and I smiled.
"And I know you always will" I told him and he looked at me, "And you will always have me" I added and he gave me a smile before nodding.
